God, I kind of hate this episode, but I look forward to your reaction to it. Still has some really good scenes, though!

You guy's should have started with the old doctor Who beforehand, the third doctor hooked up with U.N.I.T. Then the rest came back to U.N.I.T. When called . And the brigadier was a friend. Later when chased throughout time by the dilacts the doctor hooked up a randomizer to the tardis.So he can't tell when he is and neather can anyone else . But Iloved the reaction.

There's no way they'd have ever finished if they did one episode a week starting in 1963. They can have this stuff explained to them. It's not a huge deal.

The tardis is attracted to big moments in local and universal history. Maybe a tardis with a full crew and not way beyond its recommended expiration date could more easily resist those pulls, but hes working with what hes got.

Look, you can't judge the whole series on the first few episodes. Give it a chance. If you aren't into it by the middle of season 2, then I'd say you gave it a fair shot. This episode in particular is one of my least favorites in the whole series.

I'm so glad you're enjoying these first episodes, even though they tend to put some people off. The farting aliens are a bit... odd. And these are very very far from my favorite episodes. But I'm enjoying them more than ever watching them with you guys, and that's such a plus. Usually these are the types of episodes I feel slightly embarassed about showing to friends I'm trying to get into Doctor Who, and seeing you all enjoy it and laughing and taking the oddness and embracing it, is just so much fun. I can't wait for the rest of this show and for you guys to go along with it. :D

What You have to concider is the middle or end of the storie needs its start You missed the start. Which if seen Would help in the end. Now I know seeing two teacher's being kidnapped or some cavemen try to find out about fire, won't help us understand the doctor or the tardi. But we might see fromthe rest of the story what or why things happen in doctor Who.

By the way I've seen all the story's from all seven doctor's plus the Paul Mcgann movie. And season's 1-8 have 9 if I can get to it. I was about to see Mummy on the oriant express. So I have seen from start to finish.

I have four episodes I tend to skip when rewatching Doctor Who, this one and it's follow up are two of them, the other two are in season 2.

I love a lot of things about this episode. The one thing I really hate about this episode is how the aliens impersonation makes them appear to pass gas. Although I really like how creepy they are. I love the interactions with people and dialogue The Doctor has. Another thing I really love is Harriet Jones. I found this episode and your reaction really enjoyable. Keep it up. :-) <3

I really liked this 3 parter. I know it doesn't sit well with everyone because it's so different than the norm for DW, but I'm a big fan of sci-fi /sci-fantasy satire and parodies (Hitchikers Guide, Spaceballs, Romantically Apocalyptic, Space Dandy), and this is a nice one about people overreacting and making poor decisions when they fear the unknown. There's a lot of care with the script and alien designs, and the actors are a lot of fun in this one, too. Also - Harriet is the best #thuglyfe <3

I fell in love with this show episode 8 of this season. The episodes to follow were perfect as well. Can't wait to watch them react to them! Eric is going to cry. lol. I love him for that.
