That mysterious woman at the end was still in some part of Remnant, not in another moon. And maybe Yang could get a robotic arm but, still some issues there: her partner just left, who knows how much affect her that moment with Adam.

Fun Fact: The narration from the woman at the end is a continuation from the narration in the beginning of Chapter 1 of Volume One. Little things like that is what makes this show great!

Just letting you guys know just like how team RWBY is based on fairy-tale characters. Team JNPR is based on Greek and Norse mythology: Jaune is Joan of Arc, Nora is Thor, Pyrrha is Achilles' also her name means Pyrrhic Victory which is a victor but at heavy losses, and Ren is Mulan not from the Disney version but the version were she committed suicide. So the volume three opening hints that maybe the rest of team JNPR may not survive the series.

Just so you guys know before you watch Volume 4 Episode 1 there is a Volume 4 Character Short similar to the Red, White, Black and Yellow trailers that I recommend you guys watch first. Following that, there are four World of Remnant videos that each go over the four Kingdoms. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

I'm pretty sure you are right that their dad is the Cowardly Lion, and they show that by making him a protective father. I'm also sure that Ruby is based both off Little Red Riding Hood and Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. In the movie, Dorthy wore "ruby" slippers. But in the book, the slippers were silver.

The next season has been SO good. animation quality takes another major jump. the story is riveting, and we FINALLY start getting some answers to these questions(and a fair few new questions to drive you crazy as well haha)

My thoughts on the episode: This episode well and truly fucked me up but it was still fucking fantastic. I also think Monty would be extremely proud of everyone who worked on this volume and especially this episode. I love how the episode starts with Ozpin and Cinder fighting while being extremely badass. Seeing him fight I’m almost completely positive his Semblance is controlling time. The shield he creates I think is a reference to the bubble shield from Halo. The next scene is amazing and extremely sad with everyones reaction to what happened to Yang but none more so than Blake's reaction which just breaks my heart. I love that even though they are injured Ren and Nora will not give up and Jaune and Pyrrha. I love that Ruby immediately decides to find them and Weiss says not alone. I get that they wanted Sun to watch over Yang and Blake but I really think someone else should've gone with them. I love how when we see Pyrrha and Jaune the camera shakes as in Cinder and Ozpin are so powerful they are causing small earthquakes centralized around their fight. I don't think Ozpin was defeated if he has been defeated Cinder has captured him him him for her leader. However I think he did something to do with his Semblance. I love how Cinder is flying using her fire powers and I noticed she only used fire throughout the episode and I think this is because she just prefers fire. This might be something that could eventually lead to her demise. I’m glad Jaune was so adamant about Pyrrha not going after Cinder. I love how Pyrrha stops him in his tracks by kissing him finally and shows how she feels in the quickest way possible. At that point I had a really bad feeling that something terrible was going to happen to Pyrrha. I love that the trope of a girls foot raising when kissing someone happens to her. Also it is heartbreaking to see their last interaction especially because the last thing she says to Jaune is “I’m sorry”. Also I learned on the RWBY AfterBuzztv show that the only reason they introduced the rocket lockers was for this scene. I don’t Pyrrha expected she would win the fight so this was her goodbye. I love how Pyrrha uses her Semblance to fly up the elevator like God damn Magneto. I love how Jaune is only worried about Pyrrha and completely focused on getting someone to save her. I like that Weiss is worried about him because it shows that she truly considered him despite her conflicts with him before. I find it's a testament to the type of person Jaune is that he doesn't breakdown until he's sure someone's going to help Pyrrha. The pure anguish in his voice during his breakdown is heartbreaking. I love Cinder and it's crazy how she can communicate with the Dragon Grimm. I love the 1st part of the fight they show us because despite Cinder having the power of the Fall Maiden Pyrrha is able to hold her own. I love how she is able to get Cinder in a chokehold with her struggling to hold back Pyrrha's sword. I love how Cinder gets the Dragon to attack the tower. I love how Pyrrha uses the remaining metal objects to actually catch Cinder off guard in one last-ditch effort to defeat her. When Pyrrha was fighting I thought she would have at least depleted Cinder's aura in addition to the her own. Especially considering from a raw skill standpoint Pyrrha is better than Cinder. I love the reference back episode 8 of volume 1 with Weiss using glyphs to help Ruby get up Beacon Tower. Cinder unforming and reforming her arrow was unfortunately awesome. The moment the arrow struck Pyrrha in the Achilles heel I knew she was done for considering she's based on Achilles from Greek mythology who died in this way. From the way Cinder talks about the power of the Fall Maiden makes me think that this power was supposed to be hers or she is somehow related to the original Fall Maiden. I do not think Pyrrha is dead because I think right after she asks Cinder if she believes in destiny you can hear the sound of Emerald’s Semblance. I believe this is a case of Cinder trying to break the heroes by making them think Pyrrha is dead while she is kidnapped by Cinder or Emerald decided to turn against Cinder and saved Pyrrha. If she is dead then she suffered the death of who she is based on Achilles being shot in the heel and who Jaune is based on Joan D’Arc being burned alive. Another reason I don't think she is dead because she turned to dust and that didn't happen to Amber when she died. Whether or not she is dead I will be fine with it as long as it makes sense and is interesting. It is the worst that Ruby got there just a little too late and had to witness Pyrrha dying. Ruby screaming out Pyrrha's name and unleashing a blinding white light is both heartbreaking and badass. I also love this because this is the 1st time Cinder has been truly shocked which we can see on her face and hear in her voice. Also to me Ruby’s attack looked like giant wings around her eyes. I bet Cinder ran away like the coward I truly think she is without power. I like we get exposition about the CCT being down and Ozpin being missing through a completely white screen because it reflects the exposition through a completely black screen from episode 7 of this volume. I love how Ruby wakes up back at her home in Patch with her father having fallen asleep from watching over her. I also love Tai-Yang’s character design and how caring he is. I also love that he is voiced by Burnie Burns although I imagined a different sounding voice. I imagine he was in a bad place after Raven left but was able to work through it for his daughter’s. I love that Ruby froze the Grimm Dragon and I think she literally froze the beast in fear. I'm glad Vale but it’s upsetting to know Beacon isn’t doing too well. I'm glad Qrow is around to explain things because Tai-Yang certainly doesn’t want to. I don't think he wanted Ruby to know about the power she has. I think Tai-Yang is based on the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz and if not him one of the other headmasters. The way Ruby reacts to learning that Pyrrha is heartbreaking but the look on her face and how she says Cinder's name is with hatred and I think Cinder is the 1st person she has ever truly hated. As a side note I love that Ruby has wood carvings of beowolves in her room and the fact there are 2 beds shows that Ruby and Yang sleep in the same room or at least used. I love the explanation of the silver-eyed warriors and an interesting thing is I believe Mercury also has silver eyes. It's interesting that Qrow is now in charge of Ozpin’s group until he returns or is rescued. I love that Qrow tells Ruby to rest before doing anything else and that he fucking winks when he mentions the enemies trail leads to Haven. I find it hilarious that the voice actor for Edward Elric calls someone else a pipsqueak is hilarious. I also love that Ruby's 1st thought after learning she's special is how she can help. I love that there are sunflowers in the room where Yang is. Seeing Yang so broken and depressed is heartbreaking. The fact that she is more upset over losing the school and her friends before her arm shows the type of person she is although the loss of her arm has completely shattered her confidence. The little detail of Ruby grabbing her arm is great. It is extremely upsetting that team RWBY has been torn apart which was represented in the final scene of the opening with Ruby being the only one who still has her eyes open. I love that Yang's eyes glow red for a split-second when she talks about Blake. Yang says she doesn't care about Blake and why she ran but she's too upset for that to be true. It’s depressing that Yang is so broken that she’s given up for now and doesn't even respond to Ruby saying she loves her. I love that there is a time skip of a few months because I think it was necessary. I love that Ruby, Jaune, Ren and Nora are going to Haven for answers and to avenge Pyrrha. I'm going to call them Team RNJR or Team Ranger because it's a cool name and reminds me of Power Rangers which in my opinion it fits the color name Rule. It's unfortunate that Yang even after the time skip doesn't seem to have really done anything or even moved much. I think the letter Ruby left for her father doesn't even say anything I think it's just scribbles. I love Salem’s speech because at 1st you think it's just a there's still hope speech but then it turns into the villain gloating about how well their plan is going and how she's winning. I love the character design of Weiss's father or Papa Schnee. The best part about this is that with how powerful Cinder is she's just the Dragon to the Big Bad. I also love that the speech is Salem talking to Ozpin. I think this means they either have a psychic connection or she truly has him imprisoned nearby. I think Salem and Ozpin are either master and student, brother and sister or husband and wife. I think she used to be a good guy and something happened to make her turn against humanity. I think this means that Ozpin isn't completely human. I love Salem's character design because it's awesome and shows she's the master and possibly creator of the Grimm. I love her name because it's a reference to the Salem witch trials and this means she's probably based on the Wicked Witch of the West who I will now be referring to as the Wicked Bitch of the West. Another RWBY reviewer pointed out that one of the set of crystals on her headdress is missing and we've seen it around Cinder's ankle which is probably how she controls and communicates with the Grimm. I think the place she's in is located on the Dragon shaped continent and if not it's a parallel dimension that is very similar to Remnant and is connected to the Dragon shaped continent. I also love what appears to be purple Dust all over the landscape. Also from the speech I think Salem killed Summer Rose. I love both of the ending credits songs. I love Divide because it's awesome rock and it's the ultimate villain song. I love Cold because I think it's Ruby talking to Summer and Jaune talking to Pyrrha. And also a great goodbye song for Monty Oum. I love the after credits scene because it shows that Qrow can actually turn into a crow. I love this being his Semblance because it's like the ability to turn into an animagus from Harry Potter. I think we may have already seen him in his crow form in the Red, Black and Yellow trailers. I also wouldn't be surprised if Raven can turn into a raven. I also once again have to mention how the rest of the music fits the different scenes extremely well. My original theories for Volume 4: I have high hopes for volume 4 and I love that we are going to get to see other parts of the world of Remnant like Atlas and Mistral. I think in volume 4 Blake will be training and searching for Adam to stop him. I don't know when it will happen but I'm pretty sure she will be the one to defeat Adam possibly for good. However before this she will be lost because she’s blaming herself for what happened to Yang and she'll have to remember what she's fighting for throughout the volume. I think when we see Yang for the 1st half of the season should she will be building herself back up and figuring out something to fight for again. I’m not entirely sure when but sometime during the volume she will get a robotic arm. I think Weiss will be fine but her major problem will be finding a way to get away from her father to find Ruby and fight again. I think we might also see some scenes of her training with Winter to become better at summoning. I would love it if either Weiss goes to visit Yang or Yang goes to visit Weiss and they go talk to Ironwood and that's how Yang gets a robotic arm. I think we’ll see Team Ranger helping people along the way to Haven and hopefully spreading news of what really happens in Vale. If Pyrrha is really dead I expect some flashbacks and I would want her to sometimes appear as a ghost in Jaune’s dreams to fuel his determination to continue fighting. I think eventually in the show but probably not in volume 4 that in the final fight with Cinder that Jaune will deliver the killing blow. I also hope we get some emotional scenes about everything that happened in this episode and I can't wait for even more awesome and amazing fight scenes. I also can't wait to see more new and interesting characters.

The name of that character is in the credits. In volume 1 episode 1 they called her mysterious narrator or something, but this time they gave the fans her name. It is in the video and was intentionally placed for fans to find. Therefore it is not a spoiler by definition, just something you missed because you did not watch the credits, her name is Salem.

I had to re-watch the Yellow Trailer. There are two celestial bodies but the slightly yellow one is the sun, probably rising. The RT wiki says there's only one moon however. Depending on its orbit it can be seen as shattered or whole.

Just the fact that Yang herself said that Summer "went on a mission and never came back." I know people keep bringing up the grave stone we've seen of hers, but all that could mean is that she's been assumed dead and my theory Tai Yang told Ruby she was dead so she wouldn't go through the same thing Yang has gone through all these years. For all we know she could have lost her memory or what I think they'll do is use her as a Sleeping Beauty reference later, For example, she could have gotten hurt and been in a coma all this time because the other name for Sleeping Beauty is Briar Rose. I could be way off basis and Summer could actually be dead, but it's still fun to play with theories of what could have happened until RT finally gives us more information about her.

I personally think most teams are family for life and its more then a school thing. In Season 4 a comment by Tai is what makes me certain something happened too make Raven leave her i am assuming boyfriend and daughter before tai was with Rose obviously or could it be my theory that Qrow and Summer Rose were Rubys real mom and dad.
