Man, Parasyte just can't catch a break. This would have been the perfect time for them time watch Parasyte considering the themes and parallels to the current Arc in HxH. Oh well, gotta hold out till next time.

Honestly, no matter which anime won, it was going to be good. Poll was too stacked. Sad we have to wait longer for Evangelion or KLK, but it's no big deal. ReZero's pretty solid too.

welp, I've been meaning to rewatch season 1 of re:zero before I jump into season 2 anyway, may as well just rewatch it with them. I honestly remember so little about it. I guess it just left that little of an impression on me, lol. I remember enjoying it well enough at the time, so hopefully this time around, without the wait between season 1 and 2, I'll be able to retain more of it.

God how is Parasyte not winning?!? This would be the perfect group for that series since these guys actually are able to pay attention to dialogue. Ughhh, hopefully it won't get dropped from future polls. I'm getting sick of them ONLY reacting to shoenen.

I've only watched the first 3 so far (I normally watch new animes to myself with the group as they go instead of getting ahead) and it rides that border of "oh thats kind of a generic plot device" but does things just different enough that it still has that feeling of being fresh. That said from what I've seen, each episode has been better then the last so that has me excited.

Just wanted to say a lot of the episodes have after credit scenes. Yall are usually more thorough than the other people I watch but just a heads up. Glad to see yall liking it so far. As for the genre this is just an Isekai where the mc is transported to another world (random, reincarnation, chosen one doesn't matter). Hell since yall are here might as well watch the other good isekais out there.
