I really don't think this show needs another sappy love interest. I mean, we've already had Kate and Sophie, Kate and Julia, Sophie and Julia, and Ryan and Angelique. I'm sure there's more, but I just feel like they've been doing it too much, and will probably do it again.

Fun Fact: Imani's actress, Samantha Cole, appeared last season in DC's Legends of Tomorrow playing Enchantress. But as far as Imani, Just based on this episode I'm not sure she's anything but a one-off character or a recurring Guest Star.

I think she could be an ally not necessarily a sidekick. Maybe someone they go to for information. Someone who will be a help and maybe learn her identity but never be like Luke or Mary level of sidekick

I think she might start out as a source, someone they go to for info or help, and eventually turn into a sidekick
