Which character's view on their upcoming death do you agree with the most?

Dip602

Barry definitely also u forgot to hit the button Eric 😂😂 😂

Doby Greg

I see merits in both but I hope I would accept it. I don't want to approach it as a fatality but a chance to go on my own term. Make preparations, spend meaningful time & tell unconfortably cheesy but real stuff and proper goodbyes to family and friends. Maybe an extended vacation and excentric/expensive experiences I wouldn't try on a extended life expectancy.

Anonymous

Barry for sure. Like Yoda says, “Rejoice for those around you who transform into the force.” We all only have a finite amount of time here and what matters is what we do with it, not how much we have.

Michael

Dying is a very scary thing and I'd really like to avoid it any way I can

Anonymous

I can understand where both of them are coming from, but Ramsey is very extreme in the way he wants to fight for his life. It is better to spend the time we have left with those we love, not spend that time creating insane meta zombies.

Anonymous

Keep fighting, but not at the expense of other people's lives

Anonymous

I will have to go with barry yes I can fight it all I want but I will still die in the long term so instead of fighting inevitably I would focus on family, friends, and goals while can.

Anonymous

I agree with Ramsey, he’s to young to give up, if his mom wanted to give up after living a full life having children and a family I can get that, but Ramsey would be giving up on potential decades of experiences

Bekah

My dad had MS. He'd known since he was 20 that he had a death sentence. He made it until 15 days before his 45th birthday. I was 16. To the very last, he was showing strength and compassion to everyone around him. Calm acceptance and the determination to bolster those around you is the mark of a great person. Barry isn't just accepting it and giving up. He's building all the others up in preparation.

Gavin Hardiman

I agree with the acceptance angle they are going for. They’ve ALWAYS found the loophole for death on the Flash. To have Barry and co truly accept his fate would make for a better story for me personally.

John M

I agree with both to an extent. Barry is preparing not only himself, but more importantly those around him (and the world) of his impending death. I think that is absolutely the correct thing to do. However I don’t think there is anything wrong with still fighting to find a cure. If we didn’t we would likely have a society with fewer medical breakthroughs and shorter lifespans overall. But that doesn’t mean you fight it at the expense of other people’s lives.

Anonymous

If fighting it means the potential end of everything in existence then there’s no question Barry needs to accept his fate

Tucker Lobner

I voted for both because the poll let me

Anonymous

Barry has never been one to give up, especially when striving for the impossible.

Christian Bolda

I voted for both because I was allowed to but I think I agree more with Barry because I don’t think Ramsey should be angry that his mom didn’t fight like he is, it’s not a bad thing to accept your fate, me and my family had to accept my Grandmother was going to die from brain cancer that doesn’t mean she gave up or that we did, it means we understood that unless a miracle happened we were going to need to say our goodbyes

Kevin Bartelen

I don't think a person should simply accept it like Barry in all situations but in both of these situations there's little anyone can do without making everyone else's lives worse in the process.

Walter Alcaraz

The Flash... must... DIE. Do it. Don't back down. DO IT. I'm ready for Iris to be a weeping widow. :D

Anonymous

Its very different circumstances barry dies everyone lives if ramsey dies well thats one person so I agree with barry because he is not being selfish

Anonymous

I did both...you can go down fighting but you also need to be at peace with the possibility that you only have a short time to live

Anonymous

I think im in the middle, if i was in Barry's shoes id try multiple ways to prevent my death in crisis, but that dosnt mean i wouldn't do what I had to when the time came

Anonymous

My cousin has MS. He's like 25 right and he's had it the last few years. He has it really bad. He can hardly walk and is hard on himself saying he can do anything anymore.

Anonymous

Are the videos going to be up soon. Don't see them up yet.

SpeedyCat19

I wouldn't be as extreme as Ramsay but I would definitely want to fight it

Flashback007

I would keep fighting. Just giving up is just that: giving up

Anonymous

I don't think their situations are comparable. Barry isn't thinking just about himself, he's choosing to die to save trillions of lives. He's right to accept it. But there's no cosmic reason why Ramsay has to die. There's no reason for him not to fight it.

shmokeys

Barry has already fought against his fate billions of times in the futures he checked. It is probably easier to accept his death knowing that he's tried almost everything to stop it. Ramsey's future is uncertain so he should keep fighting. I still voted Barry because he is spending his limited time with his loved ones while Ramsey is driving himself mad in his lab.

Sam K

Keep fighting, but accept it if you fail.

Fallen

I voted for both because i was able to.

Andrew Courtney

Accept and enjoy the time you have left. And I know the consensus is that Barry will be fine because The Flash isn’t ending but part of me would like to see them have the balls to kill of Barry and not bring him back till the finale, with an intense back season storyline of the team trying to do that.

Anonymous

When Iris was going to die at the hands of Savitar, it was an event the team had to work tirelessly to change. With Crisis, Barry has many easy ways to not die. However, the difference is that Iris's death was a murder while Barry's would be a sacrifice. Barry trying to fight his fate and failing could mean the deaths of billions, not just himself, which is why he fears not accepting it.

Anonymous

I agree with Both

Blackest Hippy

A cool Easter egg from this episode if nobody’s said it, Marv Perez is a combination of the names of the two creators of the original Crisis on Infinite Earths, George Perez and Marv Wolfman

Jon Mercano

I agree with Barry‘s the most since his death seems to be an absolute inevitability. But if there were a way to stop it, I would say keep fighting.

Dylan Carpenter

I'm going to have to agree with both on this one, but for the sake of the poll I'll vote for Barry. In Ramsey's case, there's a chance to save not only himself but countless others as well by fighting his death. Barry on the other hand has seen that out of a billion possible futures, the only way he lives through Crisis is if countless other people die in his stead.

Anonymous

I agree with both of them given their situations. If I were diagnosed with cancer I would fight to survive. If I was not only told that my death would save the Earth, but also had my mind projected to the future and witnessed billions, BILLIONS of possible outcomes for myself and the only one where everybody survives is if I die. Then i would accept my death and make the most of the time I had left.

Anonymous

Both of their decisions make sense because Barry has no other choice because of he tries to change anything it could do more harm then good. But Ramsey saving himself could save a lot more people as well as him.

Kaleb

This show is written so that team Barry is absolutely always in the right and anyone that challenges the way they do things is just inherently wrong.

Anthia Grant

I'm siding with Ramsey more so than Barry even though both points are valid. I'm 33 right now and if I were diagnosed with cancer or any other life threatening disease, I'd rather keep fighting to live than accept death. Even though death is inevitable for everyone and call me selfish, but I'd want to exhaust all other options first. Then if all else fails, only then will I openly accept my fate

Joel

"The hardest choices require the strongest will", unless it's this poll since I chose both.

Anonymous

Should usually try both but Barry has to make the hero’s sacrifice because that’s his role just like the villain always kills to make his life better. Really u need to try and find the middle ground where u accept it but keep fighting. All tho Barry has trillions of people counting on him it’s safer to just concentrate on saving the multiverse

ChiefChill

Barry should expect it but Ramsey should fight (just not in the way I think he’s going). Also I didn’t get a chance for QNA. Here’s a question I wanted to ask. Do you think Ralph’s mom will end up with new Wells

Anonymous

The Eternium Wells is trying to find is the name given to shards of matter cast off from the Rock of Eternity after its destruction. Being near it removes the Power of Shazam!, and physical contact leads to injuries. In the late 30th Century, Thunder hoped to find all fragments of Eternium and re-assemble them into the Rock of Eternity.

Anonymous

I think they both are right in their individual situations. Ramsey has found a way to live and has a greater chance of overcoming his death than Barry, who has essentially been fated by an multidimensional semi-god to die. Then again, we're all doomed to die so maybe Barry was right anyway! :)

deltaforce

Depending on the kind to 'fight' and 'accept' strategy employed. I would not accept death without even trying or looking for alternatives. I would accept it if it meant saving the whole multi-verse I would not move into Dr. Evil territory to fight my death. Since we are voting for this particular scenario I vote Barry For real-life, I vote to fight - not for my self for my loved ones.

Anonymous

One should always fight for life but in a legal way which doesnt threaten other people lives. Accepting Death is just giving up on life which is way shorter as it is and should be enjoyed to the fullest. I know Barry's reason is valid that it will save billions of lives which I am all in for but he should not just accept it and fight till the end unless there is no other choice. Since they did change the Savitar's Future Timeline before, they know the future can change.

Anonymous

Even though I think Barry should try to prevent his death and not accept it, I still 100% don't believe in whatever nonsense Ramsey is spewing, I mean come on he called his deceased mom a coward.

Luis Garcia

I think that they are both right for the respective situations. Barry has billions of possible outcomes, with the only good outcome requiring him to die. Ramsey, however, does not know all his possible futures and should therefore keep fighting if he thinks he can solve the problem.

Cristian1818

If a tall guy came out of a no where through a blue hole and told me i'm dying on a certain day, then there's no denying he's probably right.

Eduardo Zatarain

I'd say fight as much as you possibly can, physically and mentally, but if you come to the conclusion that it's innevitable, then the best thing for you is to accept it. But human & animal nature will always make us keep fighting

Anonymous

Barry must be one with Death , to avoid Death 💀🤙🏽

Anonymous

The 2nd episode in which a dead character breaks into STAR Labs

Anonymous

It's very simular to Iris death in season 4. Barry and the team never stopped even though there seemed to be no hope. There is no reason for them to stop now.

David Brown

Could you PLEASE get Patreon Connect on your Home Page fixed. I want to be able to watch your Full Length reactions.

Bryan Merino

Totally depends on the situation. If you thinks you lived a full life you have a right to except your demise. But if you have something to fight for you better try your hardest to stay alive. Just my opinion

BARRYS VIEW ON DEATH IS HEROIC, HE SHOULD’NT EPECT CIVILIANS TO BE PREPARED TO MAKE THAT KIND OF A CHOICE, also flashes new show runner kicks ass!!!!!
