Ah, crap, i completely forgot that this is a two-parter. I was so ready for their finale reaction...

Anonymous

SHRIEK! I'm so ready for this.

Able

We’re so close to Smith, I can’t wait for their first impressions!

Amelia Liggins

Two more weeks till eleventh hour unless they do a break! Hope they don't. Doctor who will take ages to get through they shouldn't make it take longer

Anonymous

It’s over already? But...I don’t want to go.

Anonymous

SO CLOSE NOW I hope they love Smith as much as they love Tennant

Virgin queen

Anonymous

These episodes just get worse and worse everytime I see them such lazy writing .

Anonymous

was that kuasa from legend of tomorrow.

Anonymous

Dang, can't believe we're already here. We're so close!

Anonymous

Now I have to wait a week, I can only pray you can release Part 2 earlier that would be Christmas>

Anonymous

I wished they had watch "The Adventures of Sarah Jane" episode "The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith" since it preceded this episode, and it was clear 10 was saying good bye to her. It's also notable because he filmed the Sarah Jane episode AFTER this finale.

Minnie the Menace is played by June Whitfield, a TV and film comedy LEGEND in the UK. She started working on radio during WW2, and has been in some of the biggest comedies ever - Absolutely Fabulous, the Carry On movies, etc. From the 60s to the 90s she was pretty much constantly on TV and is a bit of a British national treasure. She's now 92 years old and is still occasionally working.

You also want to watch this alongside Day of the Doctor for the Ood scene, but you need to cram a few other years of episodes in there too. Stupid rules of time!

Perhaps the electricity is a side effect from the artificial regeneration.

Nick Earl

I love Eleventh Hour but about half the commenters hate Moffat and will probably flood all of Matt Smith’s episodes with toxic negativity. I love Season 5 but I am not looking forward to the comments.

Nick Earl

I will and some of them might. Sadly there is a toxic fandom in the YT comments who just hate and troll Moffat era Who incessantly,

Yaaaas im so excited

Anonymous

So hyped for them to cry next week.

The Master *can't* do all that stuff. At least, not normally. He really shouldn't be doing it, either, because he's burning out his own life force doing that shit. Then again, the Master has never been particularly safe with his own life. What Lucy did didn't work completely, but it worked enough that it basically cracked him like an egg and all his energy was seeping out.

jesse guerrero

Favorite part of the reaction..all of their faces in Holy Shit mode! 11:52

Oh, and when the Doctor was referring to "Good Queen Bess's" (Elizabeth I) nickname, he was referring to the nickname The Virgin Queen. In other words, he banged her. ;) The amount of Classic-only "fans" that threw a tantrum about that was quite amusing. "BUT BUT TIME LORDS DON'T DO THAT!" Time Lords don't do a lot of things the Doctor does, guys. He's genetically Time Lord, but that doesn't mean he falls in line with their societal norms.

"You look sad" I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

We've come a long way everyone. I still remember when they first started DW and i thought there was just too much to get through but now even though there's still so much of Doctor Who left ahead of us i can now start to see the small light at the end of the tunnel.

Dan Banks

I wish they would do the finale tomorrow like they did with the last 2 parter

Nick Earl

Maybe, but I really want to see their reaction to the Children of Earth finale.

Juliette

Would LOVE to see their reaction to 'Blade of Grass' - what a stunning episode.

Anonymous

Next week is gonna be so good. Cant wait. Then the show changes for better or worse thats down to opinion. I like season 5 but after that i just lost interest.

Anonymous

Oh god... I'm sorry.

G G

Yep it’s definitely subjective. I liked s1-4 and was cautiously optimistic about s5 back then. I was pleasantly surprised at the rise in both production quality (objective) and storytelling quality (subjective) + two amazing new doctors.

Jet

All this Gallifrey talk..I cant wait till y’all see the 50th special

JojoInSpace

Well, I was hyped for this reaction for a reason, and it definitely payed off. It's not a favorite of mine either, though I like it quite a lot, but it's a gold mine for reaction material. So many WTF and "HUH?!" moments. That cliffhanger might be one of my favorites in DW, and the reaction did not disappoint in the least. Also NICE, some Timothy Dalton love! I like him a lot too. The Master being very... Master in this. But I'm glad everyone's loving Wilf. He's the best. I think I've yet to encounter a DW fan who doesn't like Wilf - this might finally be our constant that we can all agree on (watch, as someone jumps into the comments just to claim that they don't like Wilf). Well. I certainly can't wait for next week. Also Lono, you're really playing with my emotions here, using This is Gallifrey AGAIN as the outro music. Are you TRYING to make me cry?!

Anonymous

I'm so glad that random guy online doesn't come on here. Or the very least I don't know if he is

One really interesting fact about Doctor Who: the last moments of the 10th Doctor are also the last bit directed by the current showrunner, while the first bits with the 11th Doctor are the first minutes under the production of the new showrunner Steven Moffat. A bonkers Doctor Who tradition, in his words.

Anonymous

When people talk about Moffat plot-holes, I do wonder what kind of mental gymnastics they go through to justify the first 20 minutes or so of this episode. There is nothing, not one thing, in the next 5 seasons as weird, unexplainable and dumb as the Masters resurrection. I do love Tennant, and luckily a lot of the acting is on point, but I think what comes next is a lot better than this.

Anonymous

I don't know if it's because of his vacation, but damn, Calvin looks way better than usual

Anonymous

The Healing Machine was originally built by the Vinvocci (the green cactus people). Joshua Naismith took it from Torchwood in order to make his daughter immortal. So the 2 Vinvocci disguised themselves so they could get it back.

Anonymous

I don't know how the hell they going to split part 2 in to 10 minutes i need 13 minutes of the them just for the end D: full length might be need by everyone this time.

Matis

you know what this special is a little ridiculous but at the same time it's so unimaginably badass that i just can't no t love it :3

Juliette

I love how gutwrenching next episode is but god I hate jumping+lightning Master.

Anonymous

To explain the joke about him marrying the queen. Bess is obviously a shortened version of Elizabeth so he is talking about Queen Elizabeth 1st. She is know as the Virgin Queen, how true that title is but she was never married which played into that name.

Anonymous

I feel the exact same way. When they first started watching DW I was so excited to see them react to all the twists and turns. Especially this episode and the next 2. So much more to go! But I can't wait until they get to The Day of the Doctor. If they can keep from getting spoiled their reactions should be priceless.

Timothy Dalton giving Shane a run for his money in the spitting department

Anonymous

really? I personally as someone who grew up watching doctor who loved the Russel T Davies versions the best because they seemed more exiting and had better characters and stuff going on that actually made you worry about them. but as moffat continued, his stories became more boring. there wasn't many new monsters that were scary or interesting. one was a bloody cube that did nothing. the stories seem more bland and not memorable. I can remember each alien from all David Tennent series but probably only a hand full from moffats run. Like, when Astrid a character we barely knew died I was heart broken but for some reason when SPOILERS!!! Clara died or bill I genuinely felt nothing because their characters just felt cut and paste like they were bland A.I's

pas douée pour les pseudos

And it's also a fun call back to episode 3x02 (The Shakespeare Code), when at the end Queen Elisabeth 1st arrived at the Globe and sent her guards after the Doctor. Now we know what he did to upset her: married her, banged her then left her :)

Waiting for a good spit take look to someone at the end of next episode (SPOILERS!).

Doby Greg

I look forward to how Eric(and also Aaron) react to the future companion.
