This is such a good season. The next season is the weakest but I still enjoyed it but this season is just so different from the first two.

Some high schools in the UK have uniforms, some don't. Mine didn't, but it was the only one in the city. It's also worth noting that 'private' and 'public' schools are basically the same thing (you pay a fee to go there, they can pick what children they take), the alternative is a 'state' school. The 'public' terminology comes from the idea that anyone could apply to go there, rather than being limited by religion or something like that.

I think it depends on where you live, but all the schools in my county had uniforms. When you go to sixth form I think it's more normal to wear your own clothes though.

Oh you are right. I never thought of it but "Bad Wolf" was basically the heart of the TARDIS and the TARDIS sees every instant in time all at once. It doesn't even distinguish an order to time it just sees it all at once so when Rose brought him back she was seeing every possible death he had and couldn't distinguish one from the other.

Yeah, when you go to sixth form they usually ask that you keep to a black, white, and grey colour scheme but aside from that you're pretty free to wear what you want. Every primary school I've ever seen has a coloured uniform though.

90% is low balling it, its more like 99%! I have never heard of a high school which is non uniform.

Shit just got real and there is still so much more to come :-) I hope everyone is rewatching with Blindwave it really deserves to be seen again. This was the pinicle of Torchwood a fantastic and thought provoking series that was event television here in the UK. It was aired over 5 consecutive days and was given the honour of being broadcasted on BBC One. In my area, most 11-16 secondary schools had school uniforms. 16-19 education was mainly provided by 'sixth form colleges', which didn't have uniforms. I think that's a pretty common arrangement around the country.

You know it kinda sucks to watch this if you're a fan of Ianto. I'm gonna keep watching them cause they're fun to watch but I'm just sitting here getting all hyped about my favorite character being a badass boyfriend running in to save the day all by himself and these guys barely even take notice. I just realized that I sound like a mom ranting about how people don't acknowledge her son who hit 2 homeruns at a baseball game. This is how you know you have fallen down the rabbit hole.

imo they were pretty excited when Ianto showed up on a tractor! but I'm with you, Ianto was brilliant in this ep. He saved Jack, Gwen and Rhy all by himself (+little help from his sister), although G&amp;R had all the information from Lois :)
