Afer Zaheer get ready for Kuvira, another great villain with good motivations (and a good musical theme). And next week's episode is amazing. As for info on the Fire Nation colonies and Republic City, read the Avatar comics that take place after AtLA, they delve into that.

Next Episode is my absolute favourite of the whole series. Can't wait! Love this whole book. Korra's arc through books 3 and 4 is just awesome.

Jjj.

kuvira is everywhere in the metal clan arc. The most important staff I remember is that she was the guard that grabbed and pulled zahir when they where taking korra, she was also the one that saw the explosion in aiwei's house and I think she was also interviewed by aiwei. But yeah, if you watch season 3 again you'll say "oh look there's kuvira" in every episode of the metal clan. Also, the dude that is with her is su's oldest son, the one that is an architect (he is not a bender)

Shhhhh spoilers. They don't know who the villain is yet.

Heyoo! A great cameo in this season boys! Can't wait for you guys to see it :D

I am so psyched for you guys to watch this last book, you are my Friday morning happy start to my day, thanks!

The guy with glasses is not the the Skrillex-looking guy from season 3.

Jen A. Blue

At the end of the video, where Eric asks if you could bend gases apart, I realized: Roy Mustang is an airbender, not a firebender.

Book 1- Terrorism. Book 2- Theocracy. Book 3- Anarchy. Book 4- Fascism. While Airbender had Aang deal with a singular, more external threat on a grander, classically epic scale, Korra has to deal with multiple, much more politically charged ideologies and internalised struggles.

Adam is Magic

Yes so a well-done episode it's amazing how much they put into a 23 minute episode! Their going to love it!

She was also in Su's dance troupe and was the one who was always reporting to Su about the metal clan security force's progress in finding Zaheer and Korra (being the head of security and all). Easily recognizable thanks to that mole.

This analysis reminds me of a youtube video essay you/Blindwave may enjoy!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiGQGmnMt0I

Alric Amon

Can someone in blindwave let Eric know that Amon's motivation wasn't simply a revenge act for his father . I get that it's been months since season 1 so its easy to forget details . But it's unfair to have a judgement on a character based on a misconception of his motivations.

Anonymous

Oh for sure. While his origin and inspirations are very much based around his father's cruelty, his actual motivations come from the fact that he genuinely believes bending to be the problem with the world, and he's technically not entirely wrong. he is an extremist, but not an unwarranted one. Bending was the reason his family was torn apart, and despite the best intentions, Republic City was indeed very much a biased regime in favour of benders.

Michael Yust

I remember a post I read when this season first came out that pointed out some really great symbolism in Kuvira's bending style. The scene where she defends the train from the bandit attack really highlights some of the key elements of her rule and total control. She uses metal bands to bind people's limbs as well as to cover their eyes and mouth. Her bending incorporates some of the key elements of fascism where the government tries to control what people do, see, and say. I've always liked that the writers incorporated the philosophies of both Zaheer and Kuvira into their own personal bending styles.

Get ready for one of the greatest korra/avatar episodes ever. Korra alone is one of my favorites.
