Hey all, so quick housekeeping. There's gonna be twitch stream this Friday Nov 18th and I'll have the lineup for ya tomorrow. But now that I finished the epic month of trash, it's time for a new poll! And given that turkey day approaches, I figured its time for FOOD ANIME.

Now, you'll notice the obvious fact that I have not included the obvious choice of Food Wars. It's just wayyyyy too long, but I *will* watch the pilot and name any of your fave eps below so I can randomly watch those.

I'm also going to try casually watching the Lesbian Golf Mafia show because I have good priorities.

Another anime in which cooking gets a lot of focus is Golden Kamuy. It's a period piece with an interesting mix of elements. It explores the Ainu, which are the indigenous cultures of northern Japan. One part of this exploration is their cooking practices. Overall it's just also a very good show, it has action, comedy, adventure and is educational. "In the early twentieth century, Russo-Japanese War veteran Saichi “Immortal” Sugimoto scratches out a meager existence during the postwar gold rush in the wilderness of Hokkaido. When he stumbles across a map to a fortune in hidden Ainu gold, he sets off on a treacherous quest to find it. But Sugimoto is not the only interested party, and everyone who knows about the gold will kill to possess it! Faced with the harsh conditions of the northern wilderness, ruthless criminals and rogue Japanese soldiers, Sugimoto will need all his skills and luck—and the help of an Ainu girl named Asirpa—to survive." For "Food Wars" I might recommend just watching like... half of season 1 to get a taste of the ridiculousness. I don't really think you'll get much out of it after that personally
