There are always geographic surprises when you move to a new town. You kind of expected it would take longer than you hoped to get to the park, which it did, but finding the meeting spot was more challenging than you thought. The park was much larger than the map had suggested, so all that extra time you'd given yourself was steadily eaten up as you tried to navigate. You are a bit out of breath and a few minutes late when you find what you believe to be the meeting place in the park. You are not sure though, as the only people you can see around are a group of jacked-up dudes. You're confused when what you assume to be the leader of the group beckons you to join them. "You're here for the evening run group?" he asks you. They can't be the ones you are looking for. This gathering of men, boys really, is far from what you had imagined from the text in the Facebook group. "Yeah, I am. You're the West Side Joggers?" They are all younger, way more fit than you, and bare chested, but perhaps they can point you in the right direction they went so you can catch up with them. "We are. Good you could make it." Another one steps forward from the side and kneels next to you. "Hold still he says," and before you have time to react you feel something tightening around your ankle and hear the high-frequency clicking of a zip tie. "So the rules are simple," the presumed leader says. You look down and see what looks like an ankle monitor. "You get a five minute head start and you have to move at all times. Stand still for 30 seconds and it'll zap you. Try to leave the park and it will zap you. Good luck!"
