Hard Turn Left (Patreon)

So there are a couple of inspirations for this story, first of which was to figure out something around left side activism. There is already quite a lot of content around right wing conversion, like Trigger Hicks and Knocked Out, so I wanted to think a bit on the left. The idea of creating some sort of bondage in disguise, in particular if you put it on yourself and couldn't get out of it, was also interesting.

Finally, and surprising to me, is that there are some people who are fanatical about hoodies fiction. Not very many, but lots of feedback whenever any story touches on hoodies. I've been chatting with several people about this story. Who was the man setting up the date? What was his true objective? What happens next?

The boring realist in me thinks that this is as far as it goes. The mystery man just observes this, and get a kick out of it. Our protagonist simply completes the march, and then walks back all the way back home, where he struggles to get out of it all. Others have suggested that this is a setup for abuse. He is already gagged and cuffed, and wearing just sweatpants. If you wanted to secure a chastity device and a plug, little can stop you.

Most suggestions tend towards this being the first step in some sort of liberal indoctrination. But I'm having troubles with both the how and the why. They would end up somewhere outside of city center, perhaps even bused out to a suburb for dispersion, so perhaps as they are unmasking they might realize he is not known to anyone. In a different setup they might have concluded that he was a conservative plant there to cause trouble, but the march is over, and he is gagged and cuffed.
