I have a fan on tumblr that helps me find illustrations. Many times I write a story and can't find a good photo, so it's good to have someone throwing suggestions at you. Even if none of them feels right, and that is often the case, they might prod you in a different direction or even spark some change in the story.

So when he sent me the following little request I was more than happy to try to make something up.

have you thought about something global? The type of massive transformation? maybe a new biological weapon that turns soldiers into skinny guys? or a virus accidentally released from the lab that turns everyone into stupid athletes?

He then sent some photos roughly matching my description, one of which is in the story. These are the other ones.
