Online Ads (Patreon)

So I actually did something like this where I would go to some of the online shops and adidas.com itself and click around a bit, mostly shorts and sweatshirts. I would then get essentially all my ads on sites with ad bidding replaced with adidas clothes from various shops. A few times a day I would right click and open them in a different tab, specially if they started to show things I didn't like, like other brands, to keep them in line. It quickly bounced back to only adidas ads.

I didn't get any bleedover into non-web content, or between different categories of web sites. There are some clearly defined turfs where user profiles doesn't cross, and there are quite a lot of sensitivity about "brand safety", i.e. don't show a specific ad next to questionable content. Nor did it impact my life outside of the computer much, but maybe a little.
