So who is ready for Tears of the Kingdom? Because I am EXCITED and I had to start drawing one of my fav BOTW characters. And brought back an OC I made in 2018. I didn't get to talk much about her before, though I remember I posted all the process drawings when I first created her! Before I vanish once TOTK is out I'll take this moment to talk about her C:

She was made around the time I was recovering from TB. And then a family issue came up that put me in a position I was not ready for. At the time I didn't finish BOTW so I would stay up late at night when I had free time and play it. Depression set in bad and I started up a sketchbook and randomly doodled zelda related things. I was really into the game enough to make an oc so there was Ifora! She started out as a hylian farmer, then I made her a gerudo. My big reason for shipping her with Sidon was "I feel like crap and this makes me happy" :D

She went through a lot of changes. I was never happy with the hair, or the outfit, I still havent figured out a color scheme. But I'm in no rush. Her story so far is she and her family live in Lurelin village. Because her mother is a gerudo all her siblings are girls as well. Her father is a sheikah who met his wife at the lover's pond when they were young. Because its a fisherman village they do trading with the zora. At one point the village gets attacked by a monster group and everyone escapes and/or gets separated. Ifora along with some other stragglers receive help from the zora and they stay in their domain recovering and later getting help in finding the other villagers and family. In between all that time before Ifora has a family reunion; character shenanigans and shipping ensues!

It was a nice boost in serotonin. And it helped me on the path to not feel guilty about drawing things you enjoyed. I still feel that guilt sometimes but not as bad as it used to be. Went through a lot of years of people telling me what I should or shouldn't draw. You gotta do it for the views, get on the algorithm, etc. Just let me draw my blorbos ;u;
