I loved how back in season 1 Carter thought time travel had something to do with it. Not entirely correct but the memories of future and present are important as you can see. Can't say too much without spoilers but I'm happy that he's finally getting his confirmation (kind of) lol

I loved learning the name of Eren's Titan. I always look back on his past scenes when he absolutely rages about his freedom and whatnot b/c he perfectly captures the essence of his Titan. It hit me like a rock making all of the connections to his character and the Titan he inherited, especially on my second watch of the show.

in the manga, historia has an intense mental breakdown after ymir leaves her. they cut it out of the anime and i will forever be spiteful because of it. it added way more depth to their relationship. they were in love. also the dub version of ymir’s letter is 100% more emotional.

By the way, if you haven't already learned "Attack on Titan" is kind of a wrong translation of the title of the show The name of the show is Shingeki no Kyojin Shingeki in Japanese does mean "Attack" and Kyojin means "Titan" But the 'no' particle in between is the possessive particle This makes the word 'Shingeki' and adjective describing 'Kyojin' Hence, the name of the show is really "The Attack Titan" I don't know why they changed the title in English lol

It might be hard to see, but there's a single tear that Historia lets go of when she says that bit about Ymir. It's very subtle since the camera is immediately changing to the next person. It's such good writing nuance that we get a glimpse at Historia's emotions, even though she's more a background right now.

The reveal from what I heard was a surprise to Japanese people too, as most words and phrases in Japanese carry multiple meanings and context is needed to decide which is used. "Attack on Titan" was the English translation specifically chosen by the creator, with the attack titan already having been planned(as apart from the ending he planned the entire story from the beginning).

I wanna know how the hell Grisha made it all the way to the wall without getting eaten? Did he master his titan form in that distance? And then when he got to the wall how the hell did he manage to get in? What lie did he tell the guards for why he’s outside the walls?

Yeah they just showed that the scouts found him, but it had to have been relatively close to the wall as they have never been able to go that far until they had eren on their side. So that’s still a lot of desert and distance that Grisha has to cover by himself. Hard to believe that he (and the warrior candidates) were able to travel that far without encountering or being killed by titans, save for Marcel without being able to control his ability in the short amount of time. But still what lie could a “civilian” possibly convince the scouts as the reason for him being far outside the walls?
