Archaic Sketchbook (Patreon)

Here's some practice work I did yesterday along with some doodles for painting ideas. I felt a little rusty as I hadn't done as many this week. I could probably focus a little more on specifics moving forward. 

I managed to squeeze some more life out of Lawrence in the second image of the girl sucking on a banana. I left the pen hanging upside down overnight because I wasn't convinced it was completely dead. I thought it be cool to redraw the same photo in with different pens. The first was the now deceased Lawrence (Dried up brush pen cartridge), then I did the one beside her in a ball point pen and then the one on the next page was done with a new ink cartridge in the brush pen. I think it's cool to see them side by side. I think I'll try to be looser with the next few studies and do gestures.
