Flowers hold a variety of different hues. No one can ever know what will bud unless they have knowledge from the past. Knowledge is a key to anything, though it can also be a burden. In modern society, the young man Nick feels knowledge is a burden. Living his life he saw the world was simply: gain value, buy products, and survive. It was a cycle of work and buy. Mundane but everyone had to do it to survive. How do people just simply accept it?

“Another day…” Sitting up from his desk, Nick brushes his hands through his short black hair. He had completed another dull day of office work. In his mid-twenties, he should be in the prime time of life and youth, though he had no way to spend that youth. Money was needed for everything after all, a knowledge he sometimes wish he didn’t know. “Really… it’s such a pain in the ass.” Groaning to himself he switches off his computer and picks up his bag. The office was shabby and had cubicles and he never liked staying longer than he had to. “Just boring data entry—as always. In this city… this barely lets me keep a place to stay even though I have a roommate.” Groaning again the man walks through the lonely halls and exits the front door. Breathing in, he takes in the crisp night air. Part of him wanted to cough on the whiffs of smog from cars driving by, though at the very least he was out of that building. “What do I do tonight?” Despite tired eyes the man smiles sheepishly and fishes out his smartphone from his pocket. Swiping it open he glances over his messages. “Hah… people calling for Raven. I can’t believe they still use that nickname after all this time.” For having the nickname Raven, the man never exactly felt free like a bird. “I’ll have to call Kyle later… he works too much, but he’s a good enough roommate. He probably just started the graveyard shift I guess?” Walking down the street at night, it was loud. Midnight had not come just yet, so cars were still driving, people were still walking and talking. Nick did not let the loudness bother him though, it was normal enough and it wasn’t inside some stuffy cube. “Tonight’s peaceful.”

CRASH

“Oh no!” A shout, a piece of broken wood flying through the air and several round fruits rolling into the street.

SLATTER

Nick straightens out watching as a few of the passing cars flatten and splatter the fruits juice across the road. He liked to think of himself as not a terrible person more so if something happened right in front of him. Jogging over to the fruits he uses his feet to block some and picks up a few others into his arms. As usual for the city everyone else simply walks by, avoiding a problem that was not theirs. “Hah… as usual.” Despite groaning, Nick keeps helping the woman. The woman seemed used to city life. After seeing her by the broken stall, the woman was in disbelief that someone would help. “Miss.” Nick walks over to the women with the fruits huddled in his now untucked shirt. A makeshift bag was as much as he could manage. “I couldn’t grab the ones that went into the road, but I tried to pick up what I could. It didn’t seem like you got hurt but are you alright?”

“Y-yeah.” The woman lowers her head, she was wearing a hood. It was a bit cliché but she looked like a shady merchant from an role playing game. In this case though she was a fruit vendor along the street, which was not a strange sight though he never saw vendors along the street by his work. “Thank you…” She speaks softly, her voice surprisingly young sounding; if Nick had to guess she was probably around his age.

Swallowing, trying not to be weird, Nick sets the fruits down into the bin of the stall that was still put together. “Just doing what anyone wou—”

The girl smirked under her hood, and her face nudged up to look at Nick more clearly. “They didn’t though, did they?” Nick could not deny it, clearly only certain people would. “I wasn’t sure if this would work today… I came here last minute because of my dad.” The girl sighs quietly to herself, she sounded dejected. “I had things to do today… still glad I met you Mr.” The girls head suddenly lifts and under the hood, even though it was dark, Nick could make out some features. White hair, a soft smile, pale skin, and strange checkerboard eyes. The pupils almost seemed to be swirling.

“W-wow.” Nick rubs at the back of his head sheepishly. “That sucks… you must have been looking forward to a convention huh?” Cosplayers really did put in a lot of work to their costumes. Nick felt pity that she got pulled to a fruit stand at night. “Well… for better or worse I guess you can close up early today. Tell your dad to take better care of his stall, you coulda got hurt.”

The girl chuckles into her hand and shakes her head. “Geez, a worry-wort. Here, here, it’s not much but how about taking a fruit? I made these myself, and I assure you they’re edible!” The girl seemed energetic all of the sudden, spinning on her heel she was suddenly thrusting a basket in front of Nick’s face. “Pick one, pick one!”

Looking into the basket, the fruits did not seem like normal fruits. “Ah… I know these.” Blinking a few times just to make sure he was not crazy, Nick sees Devil Fruits in the basket. The fruits all are colorful and have odd shapes or odder tattoo like designs on them. “Devil fruits… from One Piece. Hah… I haven’t been able to catch up because of work. But I know these things anywhere. You really made some.” He reaches in the basket and grabs the pink fruit that looked like a blooming rose. “This one looks just like Robin’s too! The hana hana no mi!” The girl laughs nervously rubbing the side of her cheek, but Nick keeps talking. “Hana means flower in Japanese, that’s why the fruit looks like a flower. Honestly I always thought this power was one of the coolest. You could do so much with it… ah Robin even makes clones of herself later pretty much and—” Nick turns his head back to see the girl and she was no longer there. The basket, the fruits, even the stall was no longer there. “Huh…?” He waves his hand through the air and a few people pass by him whispering about his sanity. “I didn’t breath in gas or something did I…?” Looking at his palm, the bright pink flower fruit is still sitting right in his hand. “If this is a prank it’s pretty layered…” Nick keeps walking to his apartment, shrugging it off the best he can.

SLAM

Nick walks through his door, set his bag down and throws off his tie. Shoes off he falls to the couch sinking into it with only the odd flower shaped fruit in his hand. “What the hell was that? She didn’t just vanish right? I didn’t talk that long though.” Looking down at the fruit he gives it a sniff. “It smells weird… What if I get poisoned if I eat it? If it tastes bad, I can just spit it out…” Mumbling to himself he squeezes one of the petals of the fruit and breaks it off. The side of the fruit is a green color. “It’s green… why is it green, can you shape a fruit that’s green into a shape like this?” He felt his heart race a little, would it be a good idea to hope on something like magic being real? “It could be a weird trick by a drug dealer… but.” Looking at his work bag and discarded tie he lifts the fruit to his lips and takes a bite of it. Right away it tasted like eating both sand and dog food mixed and nothing about it was sweet. “GROSS!” Spitting out what he could, some of the fruit travels down his throat. “Why did it have to taste like that… ah…”

Whooosh

The fruit in his hand dissolves in the air like a soft pink mist. “Wh-what…?” A few flower petals are left floating in the air and with just a poke, Nick watches them vanish into dust as well. “What the hell?” Dumbfounded, awe struck there were not enough words for Nick to describe his feelings. Though he did feel one thing clearly, his chest was starting to ache. “A-argh… It feels like… heart burn?” His chest felt tight and pained. Gipping at his chest did nothing but he felt compelled to. “I only swallowed a little… was it really a drug?” Grabbing his phone, his finger hovers over the emergency call button. “Damn… I don’t wanna have to pay for an ambulance.”

POP

A pop sound was what Nick heard for just a moment. “A-ah was that my back?” Trying to brace himself, the pain surprisingly begins to lessen. The sudden feeling of heartburn goes away but his body does stay warm. “I feel hot… but I don’t hurt?” Taking a deep breath, Nick rests his palm against his chest and presses into the soft bouncy skin. “Huh…?” Grabbing his shirt’s buttons, Nick undoes them quickly and pulls open his shirt. “N-no way.” His hand presses the skin again and his eyes wince from it. His nipples were shaped a tad differently. The skin around the nipples were also puffed out more. Pressing his finger in again, it did not feel like body fat. “Th-this feels like breasts. Did I just grow breasts?” Getting up, Nick runs to his bathroom and flashes his chest in front of the mirror. “They look like breasts! Cupping a hand over one, he cannot help but start poking, prodding. They felt like breasts, they were soft, a little sensitive in certain areas, and small. “Why… why did I grow breasts from eating that fruit? Th-that doesn’t make sense. Even a truck load of estrogen in some burger doesn’t give someone breasts instantly right?” Pausing momentarily, Nick slowly lifts his phone and speaks into it. “Search… can breast growth be instant…?” His phone responds back with no and he groans into his hand. “Uuuugh why did I even ask that! What the hell is going on?! Of all the thin-thi—” Biting at his lip, Nick stifles a murmur. His body felt hotter than before. Walking out of the bathroom, he slowly pushes into his bedroom and falls back onto the bed. “N-ngh… m-my body it’s starting to heat up more. Wh-why does it feel so good? D-don’t tell me?”

Pop

Another subtle pop sounds, this time it sounded like it was coming from Nick’s backside. Turning on his side he grabs his hand at his butt it felt reasonably plump. He had a pretty flat butt however so that was far too strange! “I-Is it turning me into a girl? Why? Gah this doesn’t even m-m—” A moan vibrates out Nick’s lips as he buries his face against the bedding. It sounded embarrassing, though also he could tell his voice was getting higher pitched. “W-wait…” Holding the side of his throat he lifts his phone up and switches to the recorder. “D-do I really… this voice sounds familiar.” Each word Nick speaks is more feminine than the last. He was starting to sound like a mature woman. Speaking into his phone carefully, he tries to hold back his panting breaths from the feelings of pleasure. “Th-this… I’m Nico Robin.” The recording stops and he plays it back. “I really do…” The voice sounded just like the voice of Nico Robin from One Piece. “I sound like a voice actor… and my body even?” A soft moan passes his lips once again as he grabs at his bed sheets. His breasts begin to push out more spilling onto the bed. “N-ngh n-no come on n-not this too!”

Despite the man's feminine woes, nothing stops. She lets another moan cross her lips and suddenly a wave of pleasure rushes up her spine. Grabbing between her legs she breathes heavily, her last bit of masculinity felt like it was burrowing to hide away inside of her. She wanted to speak out, to protest but her head can only arch back letting drool run off her lips. She was no longer a male, though the changes were not stopping there. Her hips push out more, her waist slims down, her fingers get a little longer and her hair begins to lengthen.

“G-gah r-really?!” Panting into her sheets the new woman looks at her flaked off body hairs coating her bedding. It was like she shed it all off, her skin was a bit paler as well. Getting up from her bed she hobbles weakly over to the bathroom once again. “I-I look just like her?” Nick’s eyes were brown, her eye lashes neatly groomed, the hair on her head looked freshly brushed and was now at the mid of her back. “I… I look like Robin. I sound like Robin. My eyes are brown too… that’s her original intended color. The anime made them blue…” She mutters the words softly looking at herself in disbelief. A character from a cartoon staring in the mirror looking like a real woman. “W-well.” Her lips part into a soft smile as her hand runs along her hourglass figure. “D-damn I’m hot.” Her cheeks begin to change a soft red, and she slowly glides her hand back up to rest against her breast. “It all feels so real… It feels real… I feel good. Is it the transformation? What if my head starts thinking strange things…?” Biting her lip she stares into the mirror her blush just growing. “D-dang it.” Putting her hands between her legs she squirms on the bathroom’s tiled floor. “A-ah… is it because everything feels so new? I-I need to lay down again!”

Ping

Nick’s phone vibrates and beeps once again. Left on her night stand she ignored it. Her hands instead brush between her legs as she bites at her lip. She felt good. Better then she ever had. Even though Robin in the story was older than she was she felt full of energy. “M-mm I feel so needy… d-damn it. I wish.” Looking over to her phone she slowly reaches toward it. “W-what am I thinking?” She was practically masturbating already though she did not exactly know how to. “I mean… it’s not that hard right? I just..” Pushing a finger between her legs her body quivers. Inching forward just a little she was inside. Wet was the right word, she felt embarrassed and hot at the same time thinking about it. “I-I’m really Robin right now…” Muttering the words softly her free hand grabs at her breast and squeezes it. Her moan no longer held back she lets it come out fully. Grabbing at herself letting her finger wander. Her body fidgets, her toes clench, and her breath beats out hotter and hotter. Till finally she wakes up.

Ping

Her phone vibrates between her breasts jolting her wake. It plops against her supple thigh, and she stares down at her now completely naked body. “D-did I lose myself to the pleasure?” She could not help but think she may have gotten too excited. “I even… I even took off my clothes at some point.” Rubbing at the back of her neck she sets her phone back on her table and pushes off the bed standing up. “I don’t really feel weak at least… But. I fell asleep… And I’m still her.” Pressing a hand back against the breast she lets it bounce as she releases. “I had my fun… but this is actually a problem isn’t it? What do I eve—” Hopping in place, Nick quickly crosses her arms so both her hands touch her shoulders in an x shape. “If I can turn into a girl… then… then maybe.” In the series, people with Devil Fruits usually had an idea of how to use the basic functions. The details were slightly ambiguous, but Nick had a way of at least visualizing the abilities she had seen. “Okay… She speaks french right? No wait… it’s Spanish for the amount, french for flower, and English for an attack.” Looking at her nightstand, Nick says his attack aloud. “Uno fleur phone toss!” Nick watches in awe, despite the strange name, as a hand materializes from flower petals on her desk. It even lowers at the wrist and grabs her phone tossing it onto the bed. Then it vanishes away. “I-I really summoned a hand!” Grabbing hold of her phone she finally begins to flip through it stopping at her roommate Kyle. Quickly she writes out a message and hits send. “I told him it was an emergency and to meet me here… I… I gotta show someone. Will he even believe me?” Pausing for a moment, this time Nick thinks of her command while her arms are still crossed, and once again, a hand emerges and even waves at her. “he’ll have to believe me to some extent… What else can I do with this…? Can I do more than the series does? Can I learn Haki? Could I do fish man Karate too?! I have to figure this out.”

SLAM

Kyle pushes open the door and pants heavily, shutting it behind himself. “D-damn it. Should I have run? What the hell.” Groaning, the young man looks over the apartment; the shabby kitchen-living room combo looks to be in its normal state. “Everything looks fine… he said it’s an emergency that’s hard to explain…” With some caution, he heads over to his friend's door and swings it open. “Yo, what the heck h-happ—”

Nick spins on her heel, now wearing just a button-up shirt since it was big enough to cover her breasts. Though it only went to the middle of her thigh. A poor excuse for a dress, though Kyle’s blushing cheeks told her it worked as an outfit. “Ah… you came back faster than I thought.” She chuckles nervously, and Kyle quickly shuts the door. “W-wait!” Nick runs over to the door and opens it back up as Kyle walks to the apartment's front door. “Hang on, Kyle, it’s me, Nick!”

Kyle’s eyes narrow as he slowly turns his head back. “I have the wrong apartment. Sorry, Miss.”

PAT

Trying to leave out the door, Kyle feels a hand press against his chest. As his eyes looked to the door, an arm stuck out of it, a woman’s hand pressed against him. His confusion only grows as he slowly looks back. “Wh-what the hell is going on?”

Sighing to herself, Nick walks over to Kyle and grabs his wrist making him sit on the couch. Sitting down herself then, she pats at her bosom. “I made an arm come out of the door. You’re not going crazy. I’m Nick… and I turned into Robin from One Piece.”

Kyle closes his eyes and nods sagely before quickly opening them and shouting. “WHAT THE HELL’S GOIN—?!”

A hand grows from Kyle’s cheek and covers his mouth; a sheepish smile parts Nick’s lips as he does it. “It’s real. Now try and calm down alright? I know it’s hard to believe. But if anyone would believe this crap I figure it’d be you.”

Slowly, Kyle nods, and the hands covering his mouth vanish into flower petals. “Hah… really.” Reaching up to poke the leftover petal, Kyle watches it turn to dust around his finger. “I can’t believe it, but I’m seeing it… And.” His eyes look over the image of what could only be described as a too-perfect girl. “Someone like you isn’t running away from me… so I could believe you’re Nick. No way in hell he’d have enough money to hire someone to stay this long.”

Nick was not exactly sure what to say to the comment but it appeared her friend believed her at least. “Well anyway… I felt like I should show someone. You woulda had to come home anyway. And I can’t exactly go into work tomorrow like this.”

Kyle rolls his eyes, crossing his arms under his chest. “Oh no… you became a hot chick with superpowers. Did you want me to feel bad for you or…?”

Nick had been thinking about it before she finally texted. If she had to deal with these changes, she wanted someone to understand. “Well you see about that. I wanted to try something.” Nick stands up and takes a few steps from the couch. Once again, she crosses her arms and stares at Kyle. “What if I can do the same to you? You want a different life anyway, right?”

Rolling his eyes again, Kyle shakes his head. “Look, dude, I just want enough money to survive. Monies always what it’s about. If you wanna rob a bank and be a hot chick, whatever. Just give me some cash afterward, and I won’t tell anyone.”

Nick chuckles and shakes her head. “No, I didn’t mean that. I meant change your life literally.”

Kyle raises an eyebrow and looks over the room. “What do you mean? Something around here? Actually, how the heck did you change anyway? Magic wand or something?”

Letting her teeth clack against each other for a moment, Nick smirked. “Ate some fruit. Heh, but glad you mentioned money it’s related to what I’m about to do… see I may as well get you involved in this.” Kyle tilts his head, confused, and Nick smirks, letting her words roll off her lips. “I looked this up before you came! Cambiar, Fleur, Gender!”

Kyle jumps up, feeling his skin tingle. “Wh-what the heck?” From his skin, he sees flower petals drop against the ground. “What the heck are you doing, Nick?!”

Smirking, Nick rolls her eyes and focuses. “This is why I said you shouldn’t have stopped watching One Piece, heh, I got a bit behind but even I know about awakening… Devil Fruits you can apply their abilities pretty differently already but awakening can let you go further. So if I can create limbs of myself… in theory awakening I should be able to use other peoples limbs and alter them however I want.”

Kyle narrows his eyes and tries dusting the petals away. “No… what? That doesn’t make sense at all. Are you just making up random bullshit?”

Rolling her eyes again, Nick grunts and focuses her powers. “Whatever just stop talking!”

Despite not believing the words, Kyle feels his body begin to change. His body felt warm; Nick intended it to be similar to what she had felt. In Kyle’s case, his brown hair was now turning a bright orange color. The hair starts to grow an inch at a time. Kyle even starts to become shorter. Though, unlike Nick, there is no initial pain. Instead, Kyle’s face starts to blush. “Wh-why do I feel like this… y-you’re making me a chick aren’t you?!” As if on cue, Kyle lets out a high-pitched moan as her breasts push into her shirt ripping it in the middle. “Y-you gotta be kicking me why would that happen?!” She tries desperately to hold the shirt together though it was fruitless. The new large breasts were hard enough to contain they looked almost too large to Kyle, but Nick’s were giant too so it made enough sense. “D-damn it do you just have to do it without even asking?”

Nick shrugs and lets her arms rest at her side. “It’s fine, your transformation is pretty quick anyway, heh, cause I was the one doing it.”

Kyle’s eyes wince, and she covers her mouth with her hands, moaning into her fingers. Her butt suddenly juts out larger and rounder. Her hips push out, her waist slims, and she gets that same perfect hourglass figure that almost seems unrealistic. Though it did not stop there, the orange hair now fell to her butt, and whatever fat she had appeared to move to her backside. She was turned into a woman in just a minute, even between her legs. “Y-you gotta be kidding me.” Her voice was feminine and a bit more immature when compared to Nick's. “Nami? Really? Couldn’t you have made me Vivi or something at least… actually why is her hair so long?”

Nick sighs and lifts her own hair. “We both have longer hair… there was a time skip in the story, this how they both are now.”

Putting a hand on her hip, Kyle huffs. “Hmph… this author, I swear… Nami didn’t even have a very big chest. Now she’s stacked? Did she drink milk the whole time the time skip happened?”

Squeezing at the bridge of her nose, Nick shakes her head. “J-just stop. The breast size doesn’t matter. I just. I figured I’d change you too! Now I’m not alone in this. So there. You get to be a hot chick as well.”

Plopping back down on the couch, Kyle now crosses her arms under her rather ample breasts. “Well… I could get used to looking like this… I could probably get more money.”

Giggling into her hand, Nick retorts. “Hehe, this is why I figured Nami would suit you. Your personalities match pretty well. Hmph, Vivi is too much of a good girl for you.”

Sighing into her hand, Kyle looks off into the distance. “Mmmm… so what, you gonna turn other random dudes into hot chicks? Can you change memories or something? Make someone into Vivi. I’ll gladly go lesbian for her.”

Sighing, Nick shakes his head. “Come on, I can—”

WHOOSH SLAM

Both of their visions blur, and both suddenly hit their butts against the grass. Both hear the lap of waves crashing against wood, and both hear different men speaking in the distance.

“O-ow…” Robin is the first to recover, rubbing at her tender backside. “Nami a—wait I mean Nami. No, I mean Nami.” She blinks and hesitantly tries to say her own name. “My name’s Robin.”

Nami, sitting up herself, looks at Robin just as confused. “Why did you say it so many times? You’re being weird, Robin—” Nami pauses and repeats her words. “Robin… Ehem. Robin.” Blinking, she looks down at herself. Her clothing is entirely different than before. She wears a white hoodie dress, pockets on the side, and black-heeled ankle boots on her feet. She was also wearing women’s underwear, which was new for her. “My clothes changed completely… we didn’t get drugged r—” pausing again, Nami notices Robin’s clothes are also entirely different. “No way you changed outfits too!”

Robin’s clothes are a green and white striped sweater dress. She recognized the outfit she wore during events with the pirate Shiki. Reaching back behind her head her hair is even tied back in a ponytail. However, she was still the Robin today, not from two years ago. She also has a pair of black heels on her feet and a pair of plastic lens glasses resting on her nose for style. “How interesting.” She says the words, pondering quietly to herself. She could barely grasp what was happening, but looking around herself, she was starting to understand. “We’re on Sunny Go… our ship.” She says the words casually, but it seems she cannot speak as if she were not Robin. Calling it the straw hats ship would be too awkward now. “It seems our personalities… or speaking at least. It’s making us act more like ourselves… heh it even makes sure we don’t address certain things out loud.”

Nami jolts up and dusts off her butt. “You gotta be kidding me; what did you drag me into?!” Groaning to herself, Nami lowers her head and looks out over the deck to the sea. The bright blue waves greeted her, and the day seemed sunny and calm. It was a little chilly, but the women dressed warmly. “Wearing stuff like this… my legs feel a little cold, but it’s manageable. Still, I can’t believe this… how do we go back?”

Robin frowns and stands up herself. Judging from the lawn chairs right next to them, it looked like they had simply fallen out of their chairs. “I don’t know if we even can… I never expected this.”

Nami rolls her eyes, poking her finger into Robin’s cheek. “Ya, sure? Cause it looks like you’re smiling awfully wide over there Missy.”

Covering her mouth in a soft blush, Robin shakes her head. “O-oh it’s… well just. I mean, it’s not bad in a lot of ways.” Nami raises her eyebrow and gestures to Robin to continue. “We won’t have to just survive… That boring, mundane job. Being here like this. I don’t care to go back. If I can live like this freed from that life. I’ll do whatever I need to.”

Nami sighs and plops back onto the lawn chair, leaning back. “Fine, whatever. I may as well live it up. You’ll have to fill me in on some details though… but I at least know this one.” Cupping her hands over her mouth she shouts. “Sanji! Snacks please!”

From the kitchen, both the women then hear a passionate shout. “Right away Nami-swan~!”

Smirking contently, Nami gives Robin a thumbs up. “I could get used to this if I gotta.”

Sitting back down in her own chair, Robin now grabs the book left on the small table beside her. “It’s weird… but I feel like the knowledge that I have about events. It’s becoming clearer as I think about it.” Flipping open the book, her finger runs over the text and stops at line. “I can even remember where I left off… it’s like. We merged together. Whatever it is. Let’s both try and enjoy this. Adventuring together sounds better than some nine to five, after all.”
