Doodle - KOF XIV Athena Asamiya (Patreon)

 And he we are! The final pic in my doodle series (No, I'm not drawing the spin-offs designs. Just the main series). Now let's talk about KOF XIV.

Yes, just as everyone else, I think the 3D graphics suck balls, and yes I would prefer the beautiful 2D sprites from the previous 2 games, but considering the situation SNK had, I understand. Despite of that, the game is incredible.In my opinion, the gameplay is the best in the series so far. The artwork is gorgeous, the soundtrack is fantastic (the Psycho Soldiers theme is my favorite of the entire franchise... also the credits theme from KOD 2000), the new story promises to be epic, and, you know what? Athena's design looks pretty decent. Yeah, she still has the school girl vibes, but the rest looks like combat clothes a pop idol would wear... still I hope that the designers get rid of Athena's school uniforms for good and give us a new design.

Things that I disliked: the 3D graphics (I understand the reasons, but it doesn't mean I like them). The online is still horrible, not for the conection, but for the horrible menu and lobby system which I think is really complicated. The extra DLC characters :( (they're good, but I really miss the classic unlocking system instead of paying for new characters) and finally, I really dislike Shun'Ei  as the new main character. His design is all over the place and his personality is really bland. I jus hope he gets better in KOF XV.
