Doodle - KOF XIII Athena Asamiya (Patreon)

 With the big flop that KOF XII was, I was pretty sure that SNK would die for good, needless to say I was wrong, and boy, oh boy, I was so happy when KOF XIII was announced.

Of course, I was a little wary, but as soon as the game was released and the positive reviews were in, I felt so relieved. And with all reason. KOF XIII was the grand revival that wewere waiting. Not only the beautiful sprites were back, but the gameplay improved a lot, the backgrounds were gorgeous, the soundtrack was amazing, the finale of the "Ash Saga" was pretty good too, and it had a lot of content to unlock... well, just galleries. But I'm a sucker for galleries! and it was at this point that KOF 2002 Unlimited Match stopped being my favorite game in the franchise and this one took its place, a place that remains until this very day. The only things I didn't like about KOF XIII were: Athena's design, the online kinda sucked and the DLCs extra character (Don't you miss the good ol' days when you unlocked hidden characters thanks to your skills and not your wallets?)
