While watching along with you guys… its clear Katniss & Gale both have very different opinions regarding loss of life. But it really hit me maybe it’s because Gale didn’t have to kill until war had broken out & his district was under attack. While Katniss had to kill other kids in the games to fight another day. I think they are just widely different experiences. Which put them in opposing views on the whole Coin & Gale’s strategic second bomb plan before ever seeing it in action which we come to know has a devastating aftermath.

I think you pretty much nailed it. Yeah Gale has not experienced the trauma of having to kill innocent people just because they are part of this big circus. He does however carry a lot of rage after what happens to District 12. Katniss sees past the soldiers and know the system is the real enemy. While Gale is just full of rage at this point and is looking for revenge. More of an aggressive take to get into the capitol etc. such amazing writing!
