At least make it a fun apocalypse! I wouldn't mind going out in a blaze of glory to annihilate a bunch of infected 😂

It's my favorite episode. OG Silco + Jynx whispering the song from episode 1 on the bridge + the lighting of the spotlights in the smoky night... And above all, Ekko is my favorite character. Not only his design and the rapping and street-art associated with him are cool AF, but I have so much sympathy for the way he chose to take. This world of inequality, privilege, crime and corruption really needs him. Unfortunately, every season has an end. I'll be there for "The Last of Us" but if you haven't started watching "Bridging the Rift", please react to it. Don't watch it without us! I love your analyzes and Arcane so much. There's a way to extend our Love for Arcane beyond the end of Season 1.

This episode was one of our favorites too! So much to unpack. So much character development as we explore their motives and desires. Gosh I wish this didn't come to an end. These characters started meaning more to me than I ever thought they would and the show's commentary is one we deeply appreciate. Just like the game League of Legends which looks pretty straight forward until you start playing it. Arcane could've been a simple animated show for the fans of the game. But it's a way more complex show filled with intricacies, character development and exploration, amazing commentary about classism and what we do to achieve our deepest desires. This show is a 10/10 for us and we could not be more grateful for the experience.

It always fascinates me when people are somehow more trusting of Silco than of Mel. This story is so incredibly well constructed, isn't it? It's shamelessly pointing out people's biases left and right. Another fascinating thing I see from reactors all the time is understanding where Marcus is coming from, but when he shoots Ekko, their "empathy goes straight to zero". Like all of a sudden, you're supposed to sacrifice your daughter in the name of "doing the right thing", and if you fail to do that, you're just a piece of shit well beyond redemption. Just because you tried to hurt someone we like. What interesting creatures we are. Honestly, we all deserve to die in a horrible nuclear apocalypse.
