Hey folks,

after reading the feedback i've identified the two major bugs reported. These have now been fixed. Please download this new patch which will fix the following issues:

- BLACK SCREEN:  This occurred after loosing Splatters first encounter. Players should no longer be stuck in a black screen after loosing.

- SLUT being able to fight/train with SPLATTER after first encounter: This was obviously not intended. As the Slut event following the first SLUT mini game fail is not done yet. I've corrected the issue so now Splatter will give you a LINE saying to come back latter. (IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO NOT KEEP SLUT SAVES MADE IN THE  BROKEN 1.2 PATCH)

My apologies, these two major fixes should now allow you to experience the encounters normally (mostly). The joys of bug fixing. I'm sorry you had to experience that.

I've also replaced the download link of the last post by this new FIX one.

PATCH FIX FOR MAC: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n83yedjdfwo1fel/3072AD_V1.2_MAC_FIX.zip?dl=0

For those struggling to beat Splatter:

TIP 1: Don't forget that Napalm Strike deals damage over time. This is a DPS race boss. So you have to use EVERYTHING at your disposal. I've managed to beat her with the regular blue gear, so it's possible.

TIP 2: Don't give up, sometimes her attack choices make the fight much easier.

TIP 3: Gear up, you may be undergeared. This boss is a DPS check. The regular purchasable gear is enough to get past her.

TO USE YOUR OLD SAVES: Copy the SAVE folder where all your save files are stored, and pasted in the new patch. You will be able use your save files.

after 2 loses -> try 3rd training again -> splatter is freeze on first phase (prefare to tiger strike forever :D) and combat performance still bad

Raven Night

So I see where you are going with her and your right she is beatable with the current equipment, but as is Splatter is a slog to beat and a huge tight rope walk as you can't mess up with any of your skills and even then there are a number of times where RNG screws you over. Either you run too low on SP and you do not have any time to use an item or wait for Ash to regain on her own or your damage is a point or two shy of the target and Splatter one shots you. Personally I would recommend lowering her target damage thresh holds by about 200-300HP or add an extra turn before she one shots you hell even giving us some equipment upgrades possibly an increase to damage, increase the SP gauge, or better SP regain would make things better. Because in her current form she is Extremely frustrating to fight and I feel like some of that frustration can be easily fixed.

xBrokenEclipse .

Boss fight was easy once you realize the pace at what things were doing. You need to use 1 of each item to complete it. It took me a few hours but I figured it out. You need a little Math on your health too.. and you need to stretch out all your phases knowing when to attack or prepare for things

Ok, I'll try to reproduce that and get it fixed for the next patch. As for performance, I didn't say it would fix, I said it would decrease the frequency. Unfortunately this is not something I think I can fully fix at this point as this is tied to the resolution I went with which RPG maker is not good at running. Changing this now would mean starting the game from scratch and I can't really do that now. But will keep trying to improve things a little and not repeat that mistake in the next game.

Not sure how I managed this, but on the third round of training with splatter whenever she goes to ''preparing to strike'' she just kind of stays that way. I literally took her health bar all the way down and she never once did anything the whole fight. And now whenever I load that save and try to train again it just keeps doing that so I can't proceed any further on that save.

I have the same issue were Splatter just freezes in the third round of training and you can just attack indefinitely. I see you've already responded to working on this so I appreciate your quick responses and hard work. Really enjoying the game right now! Keep up the great work!

If its this bad you might want to consider giving a skip option, because RNG can play a huge role in these fights, and if they get too annoying people just won't bother with them, there is no way to gain stats aside from very limited gear, I know you want players to experience failure as Mag said, but you need to balance out the frustration, it doesn't really feel fun and rewarding when fighting bosses that kill you 5-10 times before you finally get the idea.

I'd also like to have a skip option. Not for combat but for encounter failure sequence. I've lost to Splatter so many times I noticed it is faster and easier just to close the game and load the save than just wait for lose sequence.

i managed to beat splatter once you figure out her pattern and timing and get lucky with the rng moves she chosses she is easy to beat and i lvoe the game over for ash with splatter as well the game over with dtox cant wait for the others.

So, I've noticed that there are still lot's of the default RPGMaker assets in the download files, couldn't you remove those to reduce the file size by a fair bit? I know it's not a very large file anyway but it would still be useful.

it would be handy if there was a way to skip all the "you failed miserably" frames, if there isnt already a way to do that. i found it quite annoying when i kept failing and had to spam click and wait.

Immortan84king

I can't beat Splatter, she's so too strong it's cheating.
