With the Carmilla game practically done, it's time to move on to the RPG game!

With that in mind, here is a rough road map (Subject to change depending on progress)

  • PHASE 1: JULY

Create essential assets for the game: Such assets are

        - Character sprites (When in navigation mode),

        - Map tileset (To create levels in a steampunk vibe),

        - Dialog images (Just 3 characters to start with, with different facial expressions for dialog sections.

        - Combat images assets (Images include Ash being "Grabbed/bound", visual effects to give cues on when the boss is going to do something you should watch out for)

  • PHASE 2: August

With all the essential assets done to get started, It's time to put these together to create a playable game.

The first things needed are:

         - Create the levels of the game's intro and first boss level

         - Create the first version of a playable and functional combat system which will require unique features to the game: Things like a Grap mechanic that can be reused for each boss but with different parameters on how to avoid or survive it. Second a progression system where items and levels play a part. The importance of currency and vendors for items. Third, the game will give you a choice early on between being a defiant warrior (unwilling if you loose) or take the path of becoming a bondage maso slut (You willingly give up fighting and enjoy being tormented). The game will have slightly different combat mechanics if you choose the slut route. Where you don't attack or defend against the boss, but your goal is to "seduce" the boss. Think of it as, seducing being an "attack" and the boss having a HP bar for seduction. Aka, as a slut, you have boss encounters but you don't win by fighting, you win by being a pathetic bondage whore and making the boss "like" you.

        - The dialog system

  • PHASE 3 : September and onward

From this point on, if all the essentials are in place, I will start adding game over scenes and conditions on how to get them.

       - Getting one of two potential game over scenes for the first boss (Each boss CAN have one or two different game overs, One for the slut ASH and one for the Defiant warrior ASH player).

       - Establishing conditions on how to get them. It's not as simple as just loosing a fight against the boss. If you just loose, the boss keeps you in your bonds and torments you for a day or two but then lets you go. You can however get a PERMANENT game over by increasing the ANGER or SEDUCTION status of the boss. This increases through special conditions (Dialog choices, combat win or loose conditions, Items to get, performing quests for the Boss or what you wear when talking to them). In short, getting a permanent game over is fairly story driven.

From phase 3 and on wards, the game will start getting updates fairly regularly.

Each month or so you get one these possible updates:

                A) A new boss is added (Includes introduction scene, most assets and combat with her grabs/bondage attacks). But no game over scene for that boss yet. These are added later.

               B) A game over mechanic and scene is added to a boss already in the game. One of the two possible endings (Slut or Warrior) is added to one of the bosses. The choice of adding either a slut or warrior ending first depends on the boss but I will keep a balance between the number of slut GAME OVERS and UNWILLING WARRIOR GAME OVERS. So that each "camp" gets their fill of unwilling or willing scenes. Either way, permanent bondage is the outcome.

So see the update of such a game this way.

One month you get a new boss. With its own mechanics for you to figure out and "Grab/Bound" feature in battle to see ASH bound.

The next month, one of the old bosses gets one of the two game overs. It can be a boss that had no Game over yet having either a slut Game over or a Defiant game over. Or it can be a boss that had a Defiant Game over already but gets the additional slut game over.

This is to avoid adding new bosses too fast and also encouraging you to revisit all bosses and get new bad end interaction options with them.

This also makes updating the game more manageable as I can focus on one aspect at a time and the game will flesh out over time naturally.  With other features such as more "side" characters to meet and talk with in the tower, maybe a crafting system down the road. Ect..

So expect the new two month to be me getting the Basic essential together. I will still post updates of image assets, sprites and screenshots during that time. And September on wards will be the point where the game gets juicy updates for you to enjoy.

Oh, now I'm starting to get a picture of your workload priority: 1.) Carmilla's punishment game 2.) Tower of Kink RPG 3.) S.T. Asylum I like those priorities. Definitely looking forward to seeing #2 fleshed out
