We know Patreon can look quite confusing from the outside, since everyone's Patreon set-ups sometimes work a little differently! Here's how we run Ocean Club!(*^▽^*)
Starting April 7th 2023, we will be changing to subscription billing. This means that if you sign up on the 13th of the month (for example), you will get charged again on the 13th of the next month, similar to other internet subscription services. That being said, our "sign-up periods" will still last the entirety of the month.
In order to plan when you would like to cancel, you can see our current set schedule at the top of our About section.
Your account gets automatically charged once you sign up, so you can make sure which set you are currently signing up for at the top of our About section.

The way rewards are paid for and shipped out works similarly to a pre-order. Here is an example of what the typical monthly rundown looks like! :
January 1st - Sign-up period for the Powerpuffgirls set opens. If you are not signed up and decide to signup during the month of January, your account gets automatically charged and you are put on the list for the Powerpuff Girls set.
If you are signed up from the previous month, and you decide not to cancel before your own personal charge date (which you can check here) your account will be charged and you are put on the list for the Powerpuff Girls set.
Feb 1st - Sign-up for Powerpuff Girls is now officially closed, and then sign-up begins for the new set, Princess Mononoke. We then spend February shipping out Powerpuff Girls rewards.
All of the leftover rewards get uploaded onto the Secret Shop 1-2 months after their sign-up period, because our online shop fulfillment warehouse is far away from where we ship rewards.
So essentially, you are always paying/signing-up for rewards that will be received the following month, regardless of if you join at the beginning or end of the month.
If you only want to subscribe for a single set, please make sure to cancel your subscription before your personal charge date! After you are charged, we are unable to offer refunds or cancellations after your payment has been processed.
In order to help you guys plan your cancellation times accordingly, we provide the set schedule for the next 3-5 months at the top of our About section. This will be updated regularly before sets are released so you can plan your cancellations accordingly.
Then, you can check your own personal charge date HERE, so if you don't want a particular set from a particular month, please make sure to cancel your subscription before your charge date. And even if you unsubscribe, you still always have the whole rest of the month to sign up if you change your mind. :)
The only thing I ask of you guys is...
Keeping your address up-to-date
- We will no longer shipping out rewards to Patrons with blank addresses and you will receive a refund if your address is blank.
- If your address is incorrect, we are no longer be providing refunds for returned parcels, as we have already paid the shipping fees, cost for products, and done the labour to pack your order.
- If you are in the middle of moving and do not know your address, we would suggest cancelling your subscription until a later date.

Signing up or cancelling at the appropriate time
- In order to keep our system streamlined and efficient (in both production and fulfillment), we are no longer able to provide refunds after your account is charged.
- Additionally, you must make sure you are signed up within the allotted timeframe to receive the set you want! You can see our current set schedule at the top of our About section.
- With that being said, please make sure to cancel your subscription before your personal charge date to avoid any unwanted charges.

What is the Patreon shop? (Now called SECRET SHOP)
The Secret Shop is an exclusive shop for Patreon members only that carries all of my leftover Patreon rewards including prints, stickers, and washi tape.
It costs at least $2 USD to access the shop (via our lowest tier, "Support Club") but access is also included with every other tier on the Patreon as well.
We aim to update the Secret Shop 1-2 months after the month of the awards, because our online shop fulfillment warehouse is far away from where we ship rewards.
How do I access the Secret Shop?
The Secret Shop is only accessible with a secret password that I change on a monthly basis. The password is posted on my Patreon feed the 1st of every month after charges go through.
Where do you ship from?
We ship from Ontario, Canada! :)
When do rewards get shipped?
Rewards ship within the first week of the month, so typically between the 1st-7th!
Will I get a shipping notification?
Unlike typical webshops, Patreon does not have any internal system to notify patrons of shipments at the moment, therefore we cannot provide any sort of shipping notifications at this time.
How long does shipping take?
For the past while we have been shipping everything via Canada Post Lettermail (stamps... many many stamps!), but we plan on moving over to USPS Air Mail in 2022.
Packages are estimated to arrive in the following amount of days:
Canada 3 - 10 business days
USA 5 - 15 business days
International - 7 - 30 business days
...Given it is not a busy time of year (such as Black Friday, the holidays and etc.)!
Who should I contact if my rewards have still not arrived in the allotted timeframe?
Please contact us through the contact form on my website with the following information:
-Name and/or username inputted into Patreon
-The set you signed up for that you are missing
It is helpful if you provide as much information as you are able so we can easily find your account in our system! Then we can can either work on tracking down your package or sending a replacement.

Can you combine Secret Shop orders with my monthly Patreon subscription?
Since we use two different systems to process and ship orders for each channel, we are unfortunately unable to combine shipments at this time. Very sorry about this!
My rewards have been bent or damaged! :(
Sometimes this happens, and we are so sorry for this outcome!ಥ_ಥ Typically this happens due to postal carrier neglect...
If you have received a damage item, please e-mail us at support@oceaninspace.com with a photo of the damage, and we would be happy to help. Thank you for your understanding!
How do I update my address?
You can update your address by clicking here. Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep your address up-to-date as we are no longer able to send out replacement parcels.
