Today's my birthday, so... here's a little gift for all of you! A peek at some of my experimentation this month ^^
Which started as just me wanting to fiddle around with stuff, no pressure, having fun... And it's turning bigger and bigger as I go :P I don't know how long the full sequence might turn out to be; this is merely an 8-second bit of what's in my head (and there's going to be some smaller pieces in other WIP posts, but this is the biggest segment). But I'm happy with how well it's been going, despite not knowing how/if I can render it fully and all that!
I debated on even posting this, because... I know animation has been requested a lot for me, and I don't know how well I can convey just the scale at which this is so much more complex and time-consuming than what I usually do. It's definitely not something I could finish in a single month, it doesn't quite mesh with my usual style, and honestly, the time spent / reward gained might not be at all worth it in the long run. I'm worried about letting folks get any expectations for more of this in the future.
But it's still something I've wanted to try, even if it's a ton more time investment. And it's so far fun to do, even if it's also tedious and time consuming. Maybe just the fact that there's a lot of great animations out there but not a lot that are exactly what I want to see, so this gives me at least some opportunity to try and fill that void. (Emphasis on try.)
So! Here it is, at least a bit of it. And I'm posting it because regardless of how it turns out, I'm proud of what I've gotten so far and I want to share! :D Just be aware that it's a for-fun project so far and a time-consuming one at that, so don't be holding your breath for anything; but I hope you enjoy seeing what I'm getting so far <3
