Hey there, everyone!

First things first, we're halfway through August now and technically due for another Patreon-funded piece. I say 'technically' because, while we're only $35 towards the $50 milestone for monthly pieces, I've been counting every other month towards that milestone. Not sure yet what the piece will be, I might keep it simple and possibly go back to grab another one of the suggestions from the last project vote.

Which leads me to the bigger topic at hand! Things are in need of some tweaking/updating around here I think, and I'll probably start with those milestone goals. To be quite honest, even $50 is coming in a little low for the size of project I've been doing here; the time spent on scene setup, rendering and postwork all put together gets pretty hefty. That's mostly on my shoulders though, I can't help but go a little overboard with these things! I want to push myself and try new techniques and challenges. It's just a little much to stick a deadline on, though.

What I'll most likely end up doing is actually lowering that milestone goal a bit and try to start doing more frequent, smaller pieces, and use my own free time to work on those bigger challenges. Not much will change really, it's just taking a bit of pressure off myself. And of course, if the pledges here go higher, I'll start adding more and dedicating even more time to those big, fun projects.

I want to start focusing more on rewards here, too. I can't offer too much, but I can at least try to offer more little things! For those of you interested in commissions, I'll probably be giving commission priority to patrons. For more general stuff... I know some other artists offer .PSD files, but since I'm working in 3D, that would mostly just let you see my postwork, so I dunno how interesting that is. I could try posting a few though, just to see if anyone likes it! What else would you folks be interested in?

I'm kinda at a loss for what anyone would actually be interested in seeing, besides the finished pieces (which I'll continue to post little WIPs of, as well as posting the final images here early). Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I like for this to be at least a little more rewarding than a tip jar, I just need to figure out how best to go about that.
