It's my birthday! (Patreon)

Well, for a tiny bit longer at least, and it might have been yesterday depending on what timezone you're in ^^ But yes, June 25th (mark it on your calendars!) is my birthday, the endless void is now one digit older. Neat.

And... I've been working on a birthday present for myself, today :D It was supposed to be simple, and it was supposed to be done by today, but ah well! I couldn't help myself, the ideas took on a life of their own and so it's going to be a bigger piece when I'm finished.

Of course it's not just my own presents to myself today; family went ahead and got me a 3D printer (an Ender 3), so that'll be a fun project to put together and set up. Not really sure what I'll print on it, yet! My own characters and such are perhaps a bit too detailed, and not optimized for printing - lots of too-thin surfaces and hollow parts that don't translate well to the whole "real life" thing - but I'd be remiss if I didn't try to make something based on my art, eventually. And maybe just some fun toys and handy stuff otherwise, once it's all working smoothly. Excited to learn how to use it!

That's all for today, I'm currently enjoying some cheesecake as I wind down for the night. But look forward to some Lissa later, along with that Momiji piece I've been working on~
