Last but not least, our unfortunate (depending on your perspective) prey! Multiple renders were done of this as well, but only one was actually used in this case; some color adjustments were done in Photoshop afterwards.

Also like the previous layer, the combined renders were set as a backdrop, to make sure everything lined up properly. This render was the fastest of them all, as you might imagine, seeing as it's only one tiny figure.

You'll probably notice as well that he's a lot less blurry than in the finished image, much like the background. Where the background layer got a regular Gaussian blur, the prey gets a motion blur to try and illustrate his movement. Going back a little bit, Teena's renders also get some blur, mostly in her legs (Gaussian blur, to emulate focal blur) and her hand (motion blur, to illustrate movement).

There's not much after this point, besides the process of putting everything together and making touch-ups where necessary, and of course adding all those blur filters and painting in saliva and such. I also have a pre-set sequence of filters I apply to all of my artworks, enhancing edges and highlights slightly to try and give it a more "finished" look than just the plain renders. A signature and a border to finish it up, and you've seen the results already!
