I just realized I didn't post an update for April, I'll try to do that afterwards. ^^;

This is the simple project I'm working on currently, though! I actually wasn't planning on this one, but after putting a bit of work into trying to make the pizza slice here into a proper, morph-able prop, I got carried away and just started playing around with it. Which is great, I haven't done that in a while.

To-do: not much, honestly, since this is still a pretty simple, off-the-cuff scene. I plan to add a tiny person on top of the slice, but that's about it; some little fix-ups and camera adjustments and it's good to go, I'll skip on a background this time I think.

I actually have a much bigger idea in mind for this as well, but not gonna touch that for a while! It'd be a potentially months-long project, so I'm wondering if I could work on it as a side-venture. Basically I'd just be taking Annika here as she is and throwing her into a full scene, a casual slice-of-life sort of picture with a bunch of the Paerans all having something of a house party. Sitting around in someone's living room, eating pizza and playing with "toys" (read: a few more tiny people), laughing at jokes, that sort of thing. It's something I've wanted to do for ages, something showing the Paerans in a more casual setting, though still keeping it interesting enough to make a good picture out of it.
I'd also had the thought of doing the whole scene as one big drawing instead, skip entirely on the challenge of a multi-character render that might bog down my software and invite crashes and errors. But that's a big undertaking as well, so maybe I'd figure out a better way to tackle it.
