On this month's trip into the Star Trek Nexus, we're chatting about two very different episodes from this franchise!

First up on TOS, it's the completely insufferable episode, "The Way to Eden." Originally airing February 21, 1969, this episode has Kirk & Co. contending with some obnoxious space hippies, the Enterprise getting hijacked... A-gain, Chekov awkwardly running into an ex-girlfriend, and Charlies Napier singing some of the worst songs ever recorded!

Then, further ahead in the timeline on TNG, we're talking about the Twilight Zone-esque episode, "Remember Me." Not to be confused with the R-Pats movie of the same name, this episode premiered on October 20, 1990 and features a really fantastic Gates McFadden performance, Wesley nearly killing his own mother with this dumb warp drive experiment, Geordi getting ready to strangle the annoying ensign over the whole calamity, and the Traveler showing up to help rescue Beverly AND be creepy around Wes again!

The Nexus is a WHM podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support our family of shows—we couldn't do it without you! We know you have lots of options for podz and we're super-stoked you chose to spend some time with us—thanks again!

Just an FYI, Colm Meaney's first name is pronounced exactly like the world column. "Call Em".

The TOS episode immediately goes up a star if you swap in Jerry Reed for Napier. Throw some fins and knobs and lights on Jerry’s axe, and let him fly!

He’s got the acting chops, notably the best animated guest star on the New Scooby Doo movies.
