On this month's trip into the intergalactic time ribbon known as The Nexus, the guys are chatting about two total flop episodes of Trek!

First up on TOS, it's the low-budget message episode, "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield." Originally airing back on January 10, 1969, this episode has a fantastic Frank Gorshin guest performance surrounded by an on-the-nose makeup design, a really cheap "invisible spaceship" idea, and a hilarious running thread of Kirk being furious this gleep glop hijacked a Starfleet shuttle.

Then over on TNG, it's the obnoxious, Ferengi-filled episode, "Ménage à Troi," which first hit the airwaves on May 26, 1990. The episode features Riker getting cock-blocked at every turn, Lwaxana Troi horrendously meddling in her daughter's life, a Ferengi desperately trying to get laid, and Picard reciting some sweet, sweet Shakespeare!

The Nexus is a WHM podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support this weird thing we do—we couldn't do it without you!

Is there any way to download the audio? I'd love to listen to this while driving and I won't have signal where I'm going. The download option seems to have disappeared.

try reinstalling the podcast app or try a different one because they should all allow you to download a local copy that can be played when offline.
