It's our monthly trip through Star Trek history and we're chatting about two very meh episodes of TOS and TNG

First up on TOS, it's the ultra-awkward episode, "The Paradise Syndrome." Originally airing October 4, 1968, this episode features lots of Italian guys playing Native Americans, Spock complaining about the Enterprise crew needing to hit a work deadline, and Kirk really, really enjoying his bout with amnesia!

Then over on TNG, it's the Cromwell-tastic episode, "The Hunted." First airing back on January 6, 1990, this episode has the first ever sequence of someone walking through a huge Jeffries Tube, O'Brien getting shot in the transporter room, and Picard giving James Cromwell a really hilarious "that's your problem, man," at the end of the ep!

The Nexus is a WHM podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support this weird thing we do—we couldn't do it without you!

I shilled for The Hunted to get an episode. Not only was your take hilarious but you guys blessed my favorite ep with a 4-0 review! I don't care that the TOS was garbage, I'm taking the win! Love the show, you guys rock!

As a millenial veteran who served in Iraq as an officer, I'm like 90% sure I agree with Eric's take on millenials and the Iraq war and the special place Vietnam occupies in patriotism. The missing 10% was the disorganized bit at the end, but I raise my pecan beer I'm drinking in toast to you Eric, as I paint miniatures
