On this month's SPOOKTACULAR We Love Movies episode, the guys are chatting about the all-time werewolf classic, An American Werewolf in London! How great is Griffin Dunne's cheery performance as he deteriorates into a zombie puppet? Did they ever consider the red rocket situation? And how often can you say you saw a werewolf in a porno theater? PLUS: Are Eric Clapton and Van Morrison intentionally giving bad COVID advice in an attempt to collect a bunch of souls to serve them for eternity in Hell?

An American Werewolf in London stars David Naughton, Griffin Dunne, Jenny Agutter, and John Woodvine; directed by John Landis.

If you guys want to keep the werewolf train rolling, I gotta suggest either Ginger Snaps or Full Eclipse.

Thanks for the Wolf of Snow Hollow recommend, I quite enjoyed it. Really though, I'd watch anything with Robert Forster. Happy October dudes!

Jenny Agutter has to be one of the most beautiful actress's ever, I find it odd she's not more revered or in demand.

So the joke is the plane is too heavy and they have to throw things out to make it lighter. And the Englishman sacrifices himself saying God save the queen. Then the Texan says remember the Alamo and throws out all the Mexicans.

I totally had the Edward Burgerhands or whatever it was called which was served with a scissors stabbed through the middle of it. This was the Hollywood Beetle House and they had live comedy so that was fun.

Lol so I’ve fully been to that Beetlehouse in LA. It was with a group of friends for a podcast taping. We did not eat anything but we were pretty buzzed and on vacation (just came in from a cruise that afternoon) and it wasn’t a bad time tbh. I did my best to avoid the Beetlejuice doing crowd work. The highlight though was when we left and right outside of the bar we had an Angelyne sighting.

Griffin Dunne's cheerful performance in this movie is a direct lineage to David Tennant tapping into this type of vein for some of his roles. I can't think of one without the other now...
