It's our monthly journey into the So-Cal '90s! Cue those sick theme songs!

First up on 90210, it's the pointlessly-titled, "Anaconda"! Originally airing August 1, 1991, this episode features Steve Sanders forcing Brandon to host a shitty poker game, Dylan becoming the prime suspect in a lame burglary, and Brandon nearly getting his boss arrested and/or fired!

Then over on Melrose Place, it's "Bye Bye Billy"! First hitting the airwaves back on February 17, 1993, this ep has Allison getting carjacked by Mike Moffitt from Seinfeld, Rhonda facing off against her old roommate played by Rae Dawn Chong, and Billy taking a huge leap and moving in with Amanda after dating for only a couple weeks! What could go wrong?

PLUS: Look at the fake mustache on Steve Sanders!

MELR0210 is a WHM podcast where the guys blissfully stroll through the Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place timelines. The TV episodes covered will run in broadcast order, but the gang may skip duller 'sodes in order to keep the focus on the nitty, the gritty, and the downright bizarre. Thanks so much for continuing to support the WHM Patreon!

Haven't listened to the episode yet, by my favorite observations from Anaconda. Dad pulled Dylan down to his office to tell him to manage his money. Mom got to fiddle with electronics rather than chopping food. The word "thingamadoozies" The pawn shop clerk has 298 credits on IMDB. Somehow, Mom is able to flay dead skin off Brenda without leaving any sign of problems. Dylan reads One Hundred Years of Solitude? The boss watches his soap operas with the TV facing the sun. He can't see anything.

Can you guys do “Starman” (1984) for WLM? Cabin raved about it, didn’t he? https://youtu.be/WyNFY1R-d8w

I came here just to say that I love those meat and cheese stick packs. I also hate myself so that might explain it.

Okay, so being a Canadian up here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I can say, the fact I can never find white vinegar in the US baffles me. Malt vinegar is nasty shit. ;)

These episodes go down so smooth. Like the scotch that Billy refused to drink. I'm always confused by the perspective of the writers on these two shows. Are these characters supposed to be abhorrent? I've never watched 90210 and I hate Brandon. Is his redeeming quality just... hair?

Your "cli-tor-is" joke made me spit out my coffee. Note to self: Don't eat or drink anything while listening to the Melrose Place part of the episodes.

Oh my god the Melrose place is worth the price of admission. This is getting through having lost my job.
