On this month's trip to So-Cal in the early 90's, the guys bask in the sun and do some shopping as the Walsh's make some crappy moving decisions and the crew over at the Place dodge a gross husband and attend the absolute worst surprise party in history!

First up on Beverly Hills, 90210, it's the season one finale, "Home Again," that originally aired back on May 9, 1991. Jim "Big Guy" Walsh decides he's going to move the fam back to Minneapolis so he can take a cushy job, forcing Brandon and Brenda to figure out how to say goodbye to their new friends. Andrea decides you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, while Brenda has a surprise announcement for Dylan that he... doesn't quite get.

Then over on Melrose Place, it's the horrendously-titled episode, "Peanut Butter and Jealousy," that aired back on January 13, 1993. Billy makes a scene after Allison's advertising ball, while Jo tries to hash things out with estranged husband, Johnny Cage. Meanwhile, Michael foolishly asks Sydney to assist with planning Jane's surprise birthday party, which ultimately blows up in his face. Oh, and Rhonda and Matt are still on the show too!

MELR0210 is a WHM podcast where the guys blissfully stroll through the Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place timelines. The TV episodes covered will run in broadcast order, but the gang may skip duller 'sodes in order to keep the focus on the nitty, the gritty, and the downright bizarre. Thanks so much for continuing to support our Patreon endeavor!

Cat mom here. Both analogies work.

I came for the Andrea Zuckerman jokes. I stayed for the Mortal Kombat lines. Well done, gentlemen.

There is a warmth and giddiness in this show that is welcome after The Pest over on the main feed.

Inject Billy's toothless donkey voice straight into my veins!

Jim and Cindy move to Hong Kong eventually and are almost never heard from again, so my working theory is that Jim is a numbers guy for the Chinese mafia after the transfer of Hong Kong from the British to the PRC. It explains the extravagant house and all the shenanigans in Los Angeles

Yess! The continued adventures of Donkey Boy and the Riverboat Strangler

Dude, don’t take that shit from your dad, tell that old man to go fuck himself. I’m an angry and vengeful alcoholic though, YMMV.

Maybe Matt was so concerned with Rhonda's good deeds because he's secretly an agent of Heaven engaged in celestial warfare with Malachi Throne, trying to grab as many souls as he can before they're damned to Mel Ro's cursed pool.

Andrea, Steve, and Dylan were the oldest looking teenagers on the planet.
