On this month's Gleep Glossary entry, Eric and the guys learn about a major, major, major player in the Star Wars universe, Oola, the dancer at Jabba's palace who gets eaten by the rancor! How did a trained and celebrated dancer who once wowed audiences on Ryloth come to find herself dropping to her death in a smelly, Tatooine flophouse? Tune in and find out!

Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of SW characters, most of whom we've been told don't matter anymore!

Thank you for continuing to support this weird, wild adventure we're on! You make this all possible!

Hey, the story is in Tales from Jabba's Palace. I believe.

Sam

Yep, definitely. I read the crap out of that and Tales of the Bounty Hunters.

Such outdated 18th century thinking. I bet they use Anakin's background to minimize the seriousness of poverty in the empire. "No I don't believe there is institutional racism in the empire. Did you know Darth Vader was a former slave? Look at how successful he is. A racist system wouldn't have let him become the number two sith in the empire!"

Apparently the actress who portrayed also appeared in Cats the Musical 1 out of 1 found this trivia interesting

Damn, I have all the Tales books and try to read the stories prior to air. This definitely means I read it in high school though. Thanks! - ES

Those books are such fun garbage. There isn’t a whole lot else to the Oola story though.

I’m really shocked Disney hasn’t blurred out her green boob just before she gets dropped to the Rancor.

this was approximately the same amount of effort as we got from Andy Mengels in the Yoda entry only for a character far less important

Mengels typed this entire entry with his left hand
