On this very special holiday commentary track, the guys talk over one of the all-time greats, Die Hard! What's with the burnt, apocalyptic sun at the start of the film? How phenomenal is Alan Rickman in this? You think Mr. Takagi was a good boss? Look at all that casual rail blowing! And after all this, McClane's tipping Argyle like, what? Five bucks?

If you need to re-start or re-sync the commentary, remember that we started the film at 00:00:05 and the commentary itself on this audio track starts at 00:07:11—happy viewing!

I love Die Hard and Lethal Weapon but they are def the same movie in alternate universes. Riggs is McClaine. Murtaugh is Powell. Mr. Joshua is Karl. Riggs and Powell tell their history of violence (killing a kid). Both Christmas movies (fight me). A female family member is held hostage. In the end...a giant blonde reanimates and GloverPowell shoots em down. And I believe both end with a cop regaining the joy in killing, I think. I love watching Die Hard with you. Wish there was a Lethal Weaponmentary but the WLM episode works. Thanks for another year of laughs.

Kinda surprised the guys didn't mention that the actor playing Tony ( first terrorist killed) was the main killer in james bond the living daylights

Steven De Souza didn’t direct RICOCHET, he just wrote that one! Russell Mulcahy (the guy from Highlander) directed it

I have a confession to make. I haven’t seen any of the Die Hard movies. At least not all the way through. I really need to get around to that. Same with Terminator 2 (Just saw the 1st one this year).

Oh boy, I've never seen this movie. I guess as many consider it a Christmas movie there's no better time to see it than with the WHM crew. Thanks for another holiday treat, guys!

What a treat! Thanks for a great Christmas Dadmentary.

This movie is easily in the top three action movies of all time. I love it when I know the movie so well that I don't need to watch it along with the guys, I just know what's happening. And the commentaries on movies that they like I have a different feel to them that I am way into. The second movie in the series is straight trash but A Vengeance is so so good as well. In fact they even work better as a duo if you ignore the second one. I have little children and I cannot wait until they get older to curate some of these bloated film series. No prequels, no Temple of Doom or Crystal skull, nothing after T2 or Aliens, no dark Knight rises, and just Xmen1 X2 and then Logan. I have given this an unhealthy amount of thought.

Santa doesn’t say “ho-ho-ho” when he finishes, he says “Santa Claus is cumming to town!”
