On this month's super-sized trip into The Nexus, the guys are chatting about two Trek episodes that are neck-and-neck as to which is the superior television product!

First on TOS, it's the brain-tastic, battle-heavy episode, "The Gamesters of Triskelion." Originally airing January 5th, 1968, this episode features a character straight out of a Simpsons porno parody; Kirk, Uhura and Chekov being forced into combat; and three brain-shaped beings that are also degenerate gamblers!

Then over on TNG, it's the Worf-tastic episode, "The Emissary"! Originally airing June 24th, 1989, this episode features the gang playing poker in the dark until Picard yells at them, cryogenically frozen Klingons that don't know the war is over, and, most importantly, Worf getting laid!

PLUS: We want Worf! Make that goddamn show already!

The Nexus is a We Hate Movies podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support this weird thing known as WHM! We couldn't do it without you!

A LOT of plot at the latest episode of The Mandalorian. I wonder if Chris Cabin’s head exploded.

Finally listened to the TNG side. Kinda surprised Andrew says at the end that we haven’t not met Alexander, because this is the episode where the fucker was conceived!! When she comes back in like season 4 she has him(he is also like 5 at the time, don’t try to do the math on that one, yadda yadda Klingon biology I guess)

I fell asleep listening to this and had weird dreams during which you guys were talking. It was so strange. Lol. I don’t remember much of what was said, except at one point you talked about a 2 1/2+ podcast about the 2009 Star Trek coming out. Or did that actually happen? Lol.

The dude with the antennae is an Andorian. They show up a couple times in TOS and then are forgotten about until Star Trek Enterprise, led by our pal Jeffrey Combs
