The Nexus #39 - "The Doomsday Machine" / "The Dauphin" (Patreon)

This month on our Trek-tacular trip into The Nexus, we're chatting about a totally baller episode of TOS, followed by one of the absolute worst episodes of TNG humanity has ever seen!

First on TOS, it's "The Doomsday Machine!" Originally airing October 20th, 1967, this episode features Spock facing off against a batshit crazy Commodore, Kirk threatening to hold up Scotty's weekly pay (again), and Sulu frothing at the mouth for the opportunity to stage a mutiny!

Then on TNG, Wesley Crusher gets horny in the abhorrent episode, "The Dauphin!" Originally airing February 18th, 1989, the episode tackles the big question: does anyone care if Wesley Crusher falls in love? It also features a creepy date to the Holodeck, an obnoxious old woman harassing Geordi at work, Worf and Data giving sex advice, and monster costumes that look so cheap they make some of the 1960's monster costumes look amazing by comparison!
