Early Access: The Delvie Awards! (Patreon)

So in the video I said that the Delvie Awards may become a live show but after producing the video, they will absolutely becoming a live show.

Honestly I'm not a huge fan of how this video came out. I thought I had a good idea for it in my head but as I produced it I had to ask myself "is footage from episodes really that interesting to watch?".

But I mean... what else would I put in there? If I'm talking about OpenMandriva, why wouldn't I put footage from the episode?

The problem is that Distro reviews just aren't interesting to watch.

I think the voice over is good though. I've been using a new technique which is basically me speaking so close to the microphone that I am almost eating it. I'm also talking much slower so I'm not worrying about breathing into it or having to edit out wind or pop noises.

This will be the last produced Distro Delve related video for a long while. I might do quarterly roundups or something like that so I can cover a group of interesting distros all at once.

I'm not turning my back on Linux completely - I'm just cranking the dial back from 9 to about 3.
