One of my favorite Marvel films. This blew me away in the theaters and I remarked to my friend how they crafted a villain you can empathize with—up until the point he just starts killing folks. Aside from that, all the actors really shine in their roles here.

I really liked it, but admittedly it started to lose me a bit--like you said. Namore was an empathetic villain, but I think this fell a little into the Marvel habit of tripping in the third act. Overall a good, enjoyable film (and sequel, because really nothing could top the first one), but I will never lie to you guys--there were bits that bugged me 😅

Just watched it now, always takes me forever to get to sth xD Enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would, just because the friends I talked to so far didn't like it too much. But must also admit that I was starting to zone out in the end and wasn't sure if that was just me and not being able to stay focused or if it was because of the movie
