I just finished watching the first two episodes (the full length versions will be posted shortly, along with more Fallout and The Expanse), and...maybe I'm just tired of watching "fucked up," but it was hard to get through. There's also not much to give in the way of commentary here, so they're pretty basic "WTF" style reactions. And I can say right now, if I continue with "The Boys," I won't be able to go anywhere near "The Pacific" until the season is over. I literally won't be able to handle it.

So the questions is, how important is "The Boys?" I'm going to post the full length versions of episodes 1 and 2, then I'm going to sleep on it to see how I feel. But I would appreciate your guys input. How important is it to you that I watch "The Boys" season 4?

Do whatever you need for you to have fun and enjoy doing reactions. If you're not having a good time, what's the point? We enjoy watching with you because you enjoy it!!!

I’m late to this discussion, but to be honest…meh. The Boys isn’t a bad show, but it’s absolutely a meta discussion on Superheroes and the superhero genre, both as it was as a comic…but, the whole meta criticism of superhero stuff is kind of an old and getting more-crowded genre, with Invincible doing it in Animated style, and honestly…no one is doing it better than Deadpool. This isn’t to say that it isn’t well done. Anthony Starr is truly having a star-making role as the villainous Homelander, Karl Urban is perfect as Butcher, and Jack Quaid is good too. Maybe one day I think you’d get a lot out of it, and your ability to deconstruct things would be very interesting. But it’s not something I’d rush you into. Add in the emotional impact that yet another f-ed up series would bring…and I’d say put it on the “Maybe One Day” list.
