Monthly Sketchbook 9 + Model Sheet WIP (Patreon)

Not a lot going on in my sketchbook this month, unfortunately.  Mostly trying to figure out Mephistopheles' crotch wrinkles.  It's a delicate balance; if it's too detailed, it draws too much attention, but if there's not enough detail, it looks like there's no structure/form to the drawing.  I learned to draw pants from watching Yugioh so I'm constantly fighting the urge to just drown my characters' lower halves in crotch wrinkles, it's a real problem.

Anyway, there's also some pages from a model sheet PDF I'm working on!  Still haven't put together notes for Meph yet, I gotta animate him a little more before I figure out how he works!  But I think the notes for Sock and Jonathan are a good start!  I'm actually learning a lot about how to draw my own characters by putting these together, haha.
