Lately there's been some debate among some of our team about a possible inventory... And we would love to hear what you all think!

Let's take a look at a few possible options:

Achievement/Secret Inventory: This inventory would only be used as a place to check what achievements and secret items you currently have. (no physical items of any kind)

Combined Inventory: This inventory would serve as an inventory for both achievements/secrets as well as what is currently in your hand (physical item). (if there is anything)

No Inventory: Nothin.

**Note: There will only be at max 1 item in the players hand.

I would love to see a combined inventory come to fruition! My only suggestion is to hide the UI for it as much as possible. Kinda like the interact circle! Keep it hidden, but accessible enough to where players will know it’s there :)

Tracking how many secrets I have for the completionist in me is always helpful. Though for SubLiminal the mystery of the game is what makes it so brilliant, so I also don't hate the idea of keeping it all a secret only to make the player shamefully Google search it if needed. But, where I think you could increase the intensity of paranoia, is adding a real-time inventory menu that has me questioning whether to open it now and look or wait until I think I'm safe.
