Hi! Recently I've been working on a commission for a person that comes back to me for years now. I'm officially closed  if it comes to requests or commissions but i try to squeeze in those who were supporting me back in the day, and continued on doing it throughout the years. That's how i had a chance to draw some initial poses in digital and capture the process for you. None of the poses was accepted since it didn't match the character fully, but I'm loving the process of pose drawing itself so I just jumped straight to creating more.

You can see a video process of making this page here.

I had a moment of tumbling around with a very fascinating and satisfying technique of drawing poses.

Poses from 1 to 6 were mostly just me playing around with this technique. It's a very easy way to draw front and back view of a character without working too much.
Simply draw a pose, then copy paste it, erase all the lines inside the overall shape of the pose and redraw it but from the back or front view. It's kinda like the spinning ballerina illusion.
Shape of the figure stays the same no matter if you look at it's front or back. We have too little information to decide which side is which when it's all filled with black. It's the lines that make up for the rest information we need.
It's really fun to play around o/
