These or lsr305. I've heard the klipsch powered monitors and didn't like it. Hot tweeter. And twice the price. Don't know how their bookshelves compare. Imaging was not centred for vocals but it was their showroom and music so can't say for sure. Bass was not bad but everything really feels like they are shouting.

I had their ProMedia 4.1 system hooked up to my computer for a number of years and loved it! Until the amp fried, which sadly, they tended to do :/ The Logitech Z906 5.1 I have is...decent, but I would have gladly paid twice their price for another Klipsch set.

Even though I am using them for nearfield you might want to go 305 if you heard their other version and didn't like. I am not sure what the difference is for the active version.

These Klipsch's even blow away the Wharfdale Diamond 220's? Both are the same retail price so i'm curious.

That actually isn't a bad comparison. They Ultra's line up with the overall sound signature of these and are just better at it.

The active version is only the R-15, not the RP-150. Way overpriced IMO.

Just to clarify for those who may be confused: The powered version of these is only the R-15 and not the RP-150's depicted in this video. These are better.

Hey Zeos, are those base plates removable? They would have to be, where in gods name would you find a mounting bracket for these?! The size of that fucking lip holy fuck. Just curious.
