I'm so glad you reviewed this. I am going to get some Aeon's, please when you get yours to review can you please test those on the Q1 for me? Also I'm glad your sennheiser cable works because mine doesn't, one of the connectors didn't solder right. Going to have to fix when I have time. Looking forward to making another balanced 2.5, god those suck!

Actually one side of the sennheiser cable got wonky so I put more heat shrink over it so it would hold better and now it is worse. I am not worried I will just repair that side after I remove the heatshrink. I am probably going to make another one so I can have it match my soon to be purple 660s. I don't look forward to soldering those 4pins.

Sorry, yeah it's a pain. I did test everything with a multimeter, but I didn't have anything that ran a 2.5mm balanced so I could actually test run them.

Cant be as bad as my mate. New headphones every 6 months. I swapped the pads on his M40x’s he had for a week, cups were all beat up with dents.

Is this good for m40x and Samsung galaxy j3 2016? The battery lasts long? and How you charge this amp?

The amp is charged through the USB input. Should work with M40x for a long time. Battery 8 hours minimum.

Ok... the amp charges through usb input but they should include a power adapter for charging, don't you think? Maybe It charges plugged into a PC or a phone ,right? What's your opinion about Oppo Ha 2 vs Fiio q1 mk2? Which one has better sound quality? Which one lasts longer (battery) and which one gets the headphones louder volume? ALSO which one charges faster? Compare them.

Can I use someway the Fiio Q1 mk2 to record the signal from my mixer to pc with high res sound quality? (The mixer is Behringer QX1202USB). Or I have to get an auio interface? If It's audio interface, tell me which I should get.

The Q1 does not do audio input. So you need an interface. I am not sure of your needs. The Behringer you mentioned is a good starter setup.

One other thing... How to hear the sound of two sound cards at the same time in one set of headphones?

Combining analog together means you need a hardware mixer. Something cheapish will work. But they don't always have the best headphone amps.

I have a cable : two pole 3,5mm male jack to one female 3,5mm jack. It works but not well.. When I plug the headphones separately on the two sound cards , I hear full volume sound. With the cable (when I hear them together) they sound corrupted. Specifically, the sound cards I mentioned are : 1) the mixer's which I record on PC through usb and 2) the PC's which I want just to hear the sound without being recorded from PC's DAW.(It's music accompaniment on PC's)... With that information, can you suggest me something for monitoring those soundcards at the same time?

Are the Ultasone pro 900 comfortable to wear them? The ears fit in the pads? or they should be replaced by other pads (bigger)? like brainwavz xl

one more strange question... how to add clamping force on the m40x. I have them one year and when I shake my head, they come out.I mean, they don't have enough clamping force in general.

Check that Tascam UH 7000 audio interface.... It has a great headphone amp!

The Fiio Q1 mk2 is enough to get very loud and quality sound on a dt 1990 or an Oppo Ha2se would be better?
