Wow. Just wow. Good looking out Z. At this cost I need to stockpile a few for when my 5 year old ends up messing up a pair or 2. Too nervous to keep out my HD650's. These are perfect. Still bring a smile to my face while listening.

Just got these for their current price of $15.99 plus shipping. If they're more enjoyable then my M40X or T50RP headphones I'll feel pretty stupid.

Mine came in today. The Brainwavz XL pads are now available on Amazon. Got them in genuine leather, outfitted the Retros, plugged them in to the X7S and have been fighting perma-grin ever since.

Got a pair in today and threw on some pure, raw comfort velours I hadn't used yet. I don't have many pairs of cans and these damnable things are acting in ways that my better headphones just do not. The thickness of that bass. The comfort, the price, there's nothing you can hold against these. Except the pads of course.

I just got mine in and threw on the brainwavz round in velour on them. They are just fun. I am listening to the 4:44 album again and the bass is just silly on these headphones. I use AKG k7xx's every day normally and I just like these new ones as a change. They are not the same as 200+ dollar headphones. These are headphones to just throw on and listen to some heavy bass music on where you want to hear a good good type of bass.

do you think the Mpow bluetooth dongle will be able to power these decently? i was looking at the MD 6XX's and thought why not get the SHP's and these retros (yes the pad swap made a huge improvement, thanks) to see if i really need the 6XX's. i'm running both through the micca origen G2 and with this set up i can't see the need for much of anything else, at least for me. thanks Z!

So on youtube they are saying that there is a "europe version". Like the same cans but with a different sticker.... Is this true?

Seems like there is a place selling them and monoprice is re-badging them so yes it might be true. The test is in the listening.
