Weekly Update — 2 (Patreon)

Whew. Its been quite a week.

Firstly, the first draft of chapter one is nearly done. I’ve just finished the updated outline for the last scene and I’ll be writing it early tomorrow morning. We should be clocking in at just over 8,000 words by the time we’re done, which is (almost) bang on the nose of what I wanted. Success, for once! 

Secondly, I’ve been working on an updated version of jmcoombs.com as you’ve no doubt seen if you’ve checked it out recently. It’s only a mockup at the moment. The links don’t go anywhere and the articles are just placeholders, but you can see the style we’re working with. Once the theme is finished, I plan to use a slightly altered version on my other websites as well.

And thirdly… *crickets chirping in background* …actually, I don’t think there is a thirdly. Guess the world doesn’t always divide up neatly according to narrative elegance. Huh.
