Hey, all. I’ve decided to take Mercury044’s suggestion and regularly update this blog on Fridays. Sometimes I may include thoughts about craft, the business, or other things, should the mood take me that way. If nothing else, you’ll get a nice, snappy progress report… like this one.

This week I've been mostly storyboarding the new Richard Struggle book… mostly.

On Thursday, I metaphorically threw up my hands and said, “Screw it — I think I’ve done enough of that for that moment,” and started on prose for the first chapter. I’m working to have that first chapter drafted for a release to you guys on the Sunday after this one(26th Nov), much in the same way I’ve been releasing my other works. These chapters almost certainly won’t be as long as the chapters in those other works, (If they were, then my books would only be five or six chapters long) but they’ll still be longer than the chapters most authors write for their books — maybe 7,000-8,000 words long. We’ll see.

Either way, I’m looking forward to see what you guys have to say about the set-up for the rest of the story.
